Hi everyone!
I just deposited my week and need to do an exchange. Last time I exchanged for the Liki Tiki (I know some do not like it, I stayed in the new section and thought it was fine). But now would like to stay at a different place. I tried the disney related timeshares, but of course, they are not available.
I looked at the Horizons by Marriott Vacation Club at Orlando and it looks pretty nice, has anyone stayed there? I'm also looking at Amerisuites Vacation Club at Calypso Cay. Any likes and dislikes about these places? I exchange thru interval international so if you have other suggestions, I'd appreciate those too!
Thanks!

We really liked Westgate Vacation Villas Town Center!!!! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and can fit as little as 4 and up to as many as 11-12! Pools are nice, not to many well english speaking workers, but overall a nice stay!!! The Vacation Villas part can get a little old and outdated, but still nice, and the Town Center, which was where we stayed, was newer and very nnice!! Hope this helps!!

Another resort we have stayed at and loved is Orange Lake Resort and Country Club. Beautiful spacious villas, nice pool areas...one is called splash lagoon with waterfall and pool slide. However, the place is HUGE!!! You would probably wind up driving to the pool depending on which villa you are in.

The resort was really spectacular and easy commute to Disney.

You didn't say who you would be traveling with, but if you have children, then I believe you would love Horizons. Our family (including children ages 11, 10, 7, and 6) stayed at Horizons the first week of December. We loved everything about it. The rooms were immaculate. The pool was awesome--pirate ship in the middle, zero entry at one end, and a small onsite waterpark.

There is construction ongoing--but we were never bothered by it. What we loved the most was the small size of the resort. There were only around 100 rooms at the time we went, so everything is very close to the units. Some families may prefer a larger resort, but Horizons was a perfect fit for us.

Because of the time of year we went, it was very quiet. While in our unit, we never heard another person or any noise whatsoever from any other unit. For the most part, we were the only ones in the pool. When we did encounter other families, everyone was very friendly and inviting. Took us anywhere from 10 to 15 mins. to get to the Disney parks.

If you want any further info, please ask or pm me.
