Timeshare presentation at Calypso Cay

Who has been to the timeshare presentation at Calypso Cay? I'm interested in how much pressure they put on you to purchase and what gifts did you receive. Do you get a choice as to which gift you receive? Thanks for your help!

Don't go!!!!! While I haven't been to that particular one, I've tried a couple in the past and swore I will never go again! Extreme high pressure, expect to spend 2-21/2 hours, and you'll simply have to get rude to get out of them. There are usually a choice of gifts, like $50 disney dollars, or one day passes to any of the local parks or dinner shows. They will ruin your day.

Thanks, but I have been to timeshare presentations before. I don't care what they say or do because I'm not going to buy it - I don't have the money (I've got to buy my house first!). I just want the free tickets for my sisters. We are going to have some time to kill in the am anyway.

More specifically, I want to know if this place does offer WDW tickets and/or Disney dollars. My husband and I have APs, but my sisters do not have any tickets yet. I'm trying to help them save a little money on their tickets. Especially, since one sister just got cut back to only 4 days a week at work.

They want to buy a 5-day park hopper, with the DC discount. Then they also need at least one more day, possibly two. We don't want to get the park hopper plus because we are not interested in using the plus options.

i went to the PALMS and they give 90$. at first the guy in the booth said 80$, but he could tell i wasnt interested so he upped it to 90$ i didnt think the pressure was too bad and ive been to a few.

Hey, this sounds like a great way to "finance" part of our trip....is it right at Disney? How do we do it?

We had our "budget" all set...BUT...we're going in 22 days and have had to spend 1/2 of our set-aside money for "other" stuff.... So now we're not sure we have enough money, and $80 or $90 would feed us for two days (just my DH and I)....
