Timeshare Bonnet Creek or Windsor Hills presentations

How does one go about checking either of these resorts out? We used to be innundated with phone calls for timeshares up here in Va but my husband and I would be interested in staying for a weekend at one of these properties and sitting through the presentations. TIA

Windsor Hills is whole-ownership, not timeshare.

Bonnet Creek will do a presentation, but typically Wyndham will not put you up in the resort itself---rather, they put you in a serviceable (but only just) hotel room. This is a deliberate ploy, as it allows them to better illustrate the difference between "hotels" and "vacation ownership."

If you want to stay there cheaply, you'll do best by renting a last-minute (within 60 days) reservation from a high-point owner there. Such owners can get discounts on last-minute inventory that are often quite significant.

I agree with the above post. We went through Bonnet's presentation the last time and it took us about 2 hrs to get out of there. The best thing is to pick up a last minute rental thru an owner and enjoy yourselves. There are so many resales on the market, you could do much better than buying direct from Bonnet. Bonnet's location is a plus!

Windsor Hills is not timeshare, it's full ownership and offers condos, townhomes and single family homes.

Best way to check it out is either to rent there (lots of rental opportunities), or to contact a realtor to show you some vacant properties.
