Times Square is ready!

we went to the theater last night -- saw Moliere's Tartuffe -- and we walked through Times Square.

let me assure you all that times Square is ready for tuesday night. the place was hopping, and the ball has been installed atop One Times Square.

Briar Rose, it must be so neat to walk by Times Square at this time of year...I have only ever been to NYC in the Spring and fell in love with it! What a wonderful city it is!

Will you be in Times Square on New year's eve?

We were there yesterday, too! Was it a madhouse or what???? Came out of Toys R Us and nearly got trampled!!!! It was neat seeing the "2003" at the top, though. The city is so beautiful at Christmastime, isn't it?

I stayed away from Toys R Us. almost got knocked over on 42nd street, though. and I loved the decor in the Marriot Marquis -- trees of gold with white lights and red ribbons.

and you'd have to be nuts to hang in times Square on new year's eve!

My sister and her son are up there now. They've seen two or three shows so far and are having a blast. I'm interested to hear how their time was at Rockefeller Center. They were going the evening of the day I talked with her. Wish I were there!
