We know that we are on early dinner and that is what we wanted but wonder if anyone can advise what time you can get breakfast and lunch.

We have to be on shore by 8.30 at Grand Cayman for the Stingray trip and hope we will be able to have breakfast before we go. Also we want to go ashore at Key West and likewise would need to have lunch.

The only breakfast that has a set time is the character breakfast. Lunch & all other breakfast are open seating.

WE always had an early breakfast at the Topsiders buffet. It was open by 6:30 on some port days, by 7 on other days. Not sure what time the restaurants open. I know the drink station on deck 9 has pastries by 6 a.m. with coffe and tea. Another option is to order room service breakfast the night before and tell them the time you'd like it to be deliverd. I believe the buffet and restaurants opened around 11 to 2 or 2:30 each day.
The back of your navigator for that day will tell you the exact time for the restaurants and buffet. I know we had early excursions too and never left the ship hungry.

I was just reading the AllEarsNet guide to DCL that someone posted a link to in another thread. It indicates the following for breakfast and lunch:

Breakfast: 8 - 9:30 in the restaurants; 6:30 - 10:00 at Topsiders
Lunch: 11:00 - 1:30 in the restaurants; similar at Topsiders.

Hope this helps.
