Starting to plan our May21-June1 trip.

Does anyone know what the chances are that Timekeeper might be open in MK (other than possibly Sunday before Memorial Day). This is my son's favorite and it is always closed when we are there. He feels this may be his last chance.

Also, when do they put out the celebrities visiting MGM for the Star Wars weekends? Do people typically put up a schedule of events on the boards when the schedules come out?

Thanks

Check http://allearsnet.com/tp/mgm/m_starwars.htm often for the schedule of stars. It is not out yet as far as I've seen.

Tip - If you do end up wanting autographs you must be at the gate before opening. Then RUN like mad to the tables where they give out wristbands for later in the day. (Last year the tables were in front of Indy.) If you don't have a wristband, you probably won't get an autograph. I saw so many disappointed kids show up at autograph time only to be told they needed a wristband from earlier that morning. I personally think it stinks cause I didn't see this info anywhere, only knew from the boards. We got C3PO's autograph last year. There's a pic of us here, just scroll down a bit -

The full list of celebrities did not come out until mid April last year. What we did was get to the park early and were like #10 in line for Billy Dee Williams and hopped over to Anthony Daniels' line and got the #100 band there (50 per session, 2 sessions a day). They only took about 10 standby people, who also had bands. ,

Really, I would pick my favorite and go for that band first. Try for the other one that day, but if you don't get it, don't be too disappointed. Then, go the next day and get the other person's autograph if all the bands are already given out. If you don't need 2 autographs from each person, you could split up and stand one person in one line and the other in the other line. That way you will get both autographs and minimize your line wait.

If you want to do the trivia for adults, that is limited to about 40 people, so you have to be pretty quick getting over there as well. Early Entry did help with this as we were able to shop at Tatooine Traders and sign up for trivia before the general population was allowed in the park

This may not be an option for everyone, but people like me are making special trips only for the SWW events, so we will be in the park on all days for the activities. It took us all day Friday and 3/4 of Saturday to do everything that we wanted to do in the events.

ktglads, I grew up in Cheektowaga, near the airport.

Once you have your wristbands, do you still have to wait in line a long time to get the autographs? At Star Wars Celebration, some of the lines were unbelievable.

Is the trivia only run once a day? Is this different from the Star Wars Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Is there a kids' trivia? How do you get into these?

We're going to SWW for the first time this year, and I'd like to make sure my daughter isn't disappointed, like she was at Celebration. Any other tips on activities?

Thanks

The wait once you have the bands isn't bad, since you know where you are in line, so if you are at the end, you can show up late and minimize your wait time. Basically, you secure your place in line and can go in that place once you get there. They capped the lines at each session at 50, so really that is the max you will wait. Standbys can get bands as well, but they only took about 10 total last year on Friday. They don't even get to enter the line until everyone with the bands has gotten their autographs. Max wait would be an hour for this after you get the bands

The trivia is only once a day (at like 5 or 6). It is different than the Millionarie trivia. First round was multiple choice questions, eliminating when you have an incorrect answer. Once they get down to 10 or so, they do a wipeboard type thing with the questions. One thing to note is the kid who won the cruise at WWTBAM lost in the trivia. I found the trivia to be a little more specific than the millionarie questions. Plus, no choices at the end for the trivia.

We did all the events and it really depends on the person if the event is good or not. For examply, Billy Dee Williams was quite boring and not very personable. Anothony Daniels, on the other hand, was so enegetic and awesome. He took the time to actually talk to the people during his talks and autograph sessions.
