Timeframe for Making Changes to DDP?

We have a trip planned four to five days around Memorial Day, but learned today we may have to cancel or try to rent it out due to finding out bad news about one of our dogs needing surgery. I had the DDP plan already paid for...what is the time frame to cancel it and get refunded?

Will I be able to change names on the existing reservation as long as it is before the check-in day?

First, I am sorry to hear about your dog. I believe that you have until 48 hours prior to take the DDP off the reservation.

Not sure about the names, but I believe you can adjust up until check in.

I am checking flights to see the possibility of arriving later. We had 4 days at BLT, then switching to AKL Concierge for 5 nights. Two of our flights were booked on SW Reward tickets, which may not be available later under their old reward system.

I may can rent out the first 4 days and do the last part as planned.
