but I do remember I thought I was so cool with my hit clip.
I had every backstreet boy one xD
I still have it, but it doesn't work.
I always loved watching catdog and pokemon and doug.

Nickelodean was my favourite. I used to hate watching people get slimed though, yuck.

Nintendo with the big gray game slots! And they were constantly messing up so you had to take them out and blow the dust out of them! Lol!

Backstreet Boys. 98 degrees. N'Sync. Oh, how I loved Nick Carter and Justin Timberlake. Now one is a huge movie and music star, and the other one is a trashy has been with an old reality show.

Britney Spears and Cristina Aguilera! (I had no idea what 'a genie in a bottle' meant back then, but I sung it at the top of my lungs!).

Now I'm all nostalgic.

I can't tell you how much that pissed me off. xD My Nintendo doesn't work. :[

OMG! I so used to have those!

But yeah, the '90's were amazing. That was when the best shows were on Nickelodeon (what happened to make them want to ruin it?! ) and people weren't clouded by cell phones, ipods, etc.

Dang, I remember when we didn't even HAVE cell phones at my house. My mom stayed home with my sister and I and would PAGE my father if she needed anything. And we only had one car, so my mom would have to drop off and pick up my father from work every day. We had one computer.

And my sister and I spent the majority of our time either at school or PLAYING OUTSIDE with our friends.

Remember when scooters were real big?! Well, both her and I had one and and we would pretend that the street signs/mailboxes/etc were lights that we had to stop at. Then one of our friends would be on her bike playing like she was the police officer and pull us over if we decided to 'run' them.

Kids don't do stuff like that anymore tho! It's so sad!

We have a channel over here, Nicktoonsters. It shows all the great cartoons, like Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Cat Dog..

the '90s were deff the best. if i could go back in time id go back to when i was 6 or 7 years old because that was a great year... even though it was in like 2001

mine wer atleast.
I had gotten three for my 5th birthday...
and they wouldnt shut up.
so we took the batterys out and put my furbies in the closet.
they went off without batterys. and wouldn't stop.
soo creepy for a 5 year old to have battery-less toys talking xD

eh the 90s were okay to be honest. In my mind it is a lost decade except for the fact that I lived through it.
I mean there wasn't anything iconic in that decade. Looking back now the music was terrible and I can't believe I used to jam to that haha. The toys were alright. Gigapets and furbys were cool. The teen movies were even worse than the music; now most movies from the 90s make me cringe lolol. Call me a cynic but I would have rather lived through another decade like the 60s and 70s.
ETA: some music was decent actually. Mostly the 90's grunge music like Nirvana and stuff but all the boy bands were a little much.

I was born in 1994, but I'm definitely a 90s kid! We were actually talking in my English class today about all the old stuff we had when we were kids...CD players, cassettes, VHS tapes...brought back so many memories! I remember watching movies on VHS (soo annoying to rewind! LOL), having Backstreet Boys and N*Sync CDs (loved them to death! My faves were Nick from BSB and Justin from N*Sync...they were the cute ones), begging for a Furbie (HATED it once I got it...I ended up locking it in a closet til it shut up), getting excited when shows like Boy Meets World came on Disney Channel, watching Friends with my mom (loved it, even though I was kinda young for it LOL), playing Chutes and Ladders, listening to my Hit Clips on the way to school (and if you didn't use headphones, they were LOUD!), watching Kenan and Kel and All That (the older one) on SNick (I remember being sad when they changed it to TEENick), changing the channel when Are You Afraid of the Dark? came on (yes, I was scared by it LOL), going to see both Rugrats movies in theaters, watching Double Dare after school (I made sure to watch it like every day, I thought it was the coolest thing)...I could go on forever! Man, the 90s were the BEST! Now TV, movies, and music are CRAP...I miss it

Oh yeah, I forgot.... this one time I was in Alabama with my cousins and one of them had some hit clips and I saw one that I liked (It was 1989- That song is awesome!!) and I listned to it, but then it cut off and I asked my cousin why it didn't play the whole song, and she said "that's why they're called hit clips"

Recess was a pretty good show, I wouldn't mind having that.......
