I can't believe it! My DD has wanted to pack for the last 2 weeks, I told her we could pack today.

Please give me some last minute packing advice.

What did you take that you didn't need?

What did you forget that you will remember next time?

Do you lock your luggage?

Special tips and/or tricks????? Anything that you can think of would be appreciated.

:jumping4:

Thanks, we are soooo excited.

Well, it looks like you're coming at a good time. The 10-day forecast calls for low 80s during the next 3 days and then tapers off to upper 70s into the weekend. The lows will probably be in the 50s. So, looks like possibly shorts during the day and jackets and pants for the evening. Have a great time!

Don't lock your luggage if you are flying.... they will break the locks or worse the zipper if they have choose your bag to search....

Yes - DO NOT lock your bags - security will smash them open, or, as mentioned above, rip the bag. There are signs at all airports warning of this.

Make sure you take some cheap plastic ponchos - priceless if it rains, or for keeping yourself dry on Grizzly or Splash Mountain - you can buy them at the park if you get wet but they cost about $6.

It will be cool in the evenings so take a sweater and a coat for later (which you can store in a locker off Main Street until you need it).

Yes - bring the ponchos - we really needed ours - or hooded waterproof jackets. Also I got lanyards for my kids to wear around their necks. They kept their parkhoppers, hotel key and and informational card with my phone numbers, etc.. in case they got lost. This worked out great. We also brought our cell phones so that we could call each other to meet up, etc... We brought some snacks (beef jerky, granola bars), My son needed an extra pair of shoes because his got wet....hmmm I can't really think of anything else other than the usual. Also - I brought a small backpack to keep the camera and other items in. I kept my camera in a ziplock when I was not using it in case it got wet or splashed. Hope this helps.
