I have to say that does seem really high for the car rental. I usually can find a code online and have never paid more than 300 for a mini van! Keep looking!!!

I've been trying all kids of codes. I like to use the codes that if I was ever asked will be valid. I know that the price is high but it is considered 14 days for the rental. I will keep checking and I got priceline in my back pocket, which I plan on using. If I can bid $18, I should be just around $320 with tax... which will feel much better on my wallet!!! LOL

No they are driving from Indiana. We are on our own with the car.

That's a lot for the car! Can't you return it for the CBR part of your trip? You could drive it back to MCO and then take the ME to your resort.
Those cakes from Disney are an arm and a leg. Publix makes really good cakes. I think they might have a website. For the flavors I would get something you know 100% Juliana will like. Is she a chocolate girl? It is law to not have a Publix further then every other block so there should be one by your house.

I will need the car the entire trip....
3/3 we will be landing in Tampa driving to Bradenton to visit with Mel's grandparents.
3/6 driving to Orlando to our rental house
3/7-3/14 driving to the parks and where ever else
3/14 Checking into CBR and visiting Mel's cousin at their house
3/16 check out of CBR and driving to the airport

I wish I didn't need it for the whole time but unfortunately we do.

I agree about Disney charging alot for the cakes but I really have no choice. On her birthday we will be in MK, BBB @ 10:30am and dinner at 6. I don't see a way to cart a cake around all day... At this point what's another $60. LOLOL

I just saw on priceline that someone got a car for $11 a day.. Check it out....

There was a fullsize for $17 a day... That is what I am shooting for. $17 x14days=$238 plus taxes should be around $300! That's what I am holding out for!!!!!!

I can't believe our trips are almost here! I'm going to start packing this weekend. Plus, I need to wear my new tennis shoes around the house to get them broken in.

2 WEEKS!! I was looking at your tickers on my thread today, and had a mild twinge of jealousy- then I realized how much i have yet to do for getting ready, and realized I NEED that time.

Ha! No, you need to have the "pleasure" of planning your own. I'm going to become intimately acquainted with my own spread sheet today- Mary is buying our tickets tomorrow!! Now that we have firm dates and they are for the earlier time, it's suddenly "crunch time". OUr ADR date is March 6th which is coming up fast!!! HOWEVER, Disney is deciding to waterboard it's guests by not releasing park hours- so it's going to be really tough doing that w/o those hours.

Oops ! Sorry that whole above stuff probably just constituted a massive hijacking!!

Hopefully you'll get the park hours in time... it shouldn't be too busy the weeks you are there with the kids back in school. BUT people might be booking ADRs with the hopes of free dining again.

This will end up being repeat info. for you, but we're leaning towards getting 7 day hoppers and using our extra one day tix that will come with the DDP to fill in the extra days we'll need them. maroo has an extra ticket that she will give us too.

I'm NOT looking forward to the DRAMA that ADR day will produce. We don't even have a schedule nailed down. Well, at least we'll get a jump on the FD ahead of the masses. Hopefully!

I'm thinking that I might do a few updates while in FL.... not long but at least a few check ins. We will have internet in the house.
