Beignets are a French pastry kind of like fluffy doughnuts piled high with 4 feet of powdered sugar that are a specialty of New Orleans. You can only get them at the POFQ resort. A lot of people rave about them that stay there.

I got a PIN a few days ago too. Not sure if we will go, but if we do it will help.
I have been thinking of CBR too, but I think if we go, it will be a shorter trip and not as much time, so we'll just stick with Pop.
It was too cute last night. I mentioned to Claire that Today would be her last day before Christmas vacation, and she said, Yeah we're going to Disney. I said no not for Christmas vacation ,and she cried and cried, right in front of DH! She said we always vacation in Disney, and I tried to explain this was just a break from School and we couldn't go or Santa won't find us, but she was convince we should leave now and go. I agree of course. LOL!

I'm jealous you got a PIN!! I've did what others suggested on both my log in and then even registered DH and nothing. It won't make or break us but it would be nice to save a few extra $$. Did you read about the new offer that starts 12/21 and the gift cards? That's a better deal for us since we're doing Value this trip so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's true. I would love for the gift card to include dining, however.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Xmas card pictures. It's hard for me to pick a favorite because they are each unique and so adorable! Our Xmas picture was actually a Photopass picture we took at AK in Sept!

Are you ready for Xmas? I am! We're getting hammered with snow today and tonight so it makes it even more festive.

The "rumor" is a $300 gift card for a 5 night Value Resort, $500 gift card for a Moderate, and $750 for a Deluxe. The dates are Jan-June (I think) and a few blackouts - including Easter. It's supposed to be released/announced on 12/21.

Are you thinking you might be able to go? I hope you can.

Yes, that would be so cool! We had such a blast this past Sept/Oct and I'd love to do a girlie trip but in my heart I don't know how I could tell DS and NOT bring him!

It's actually a really nice walk. They do rent the bikes at POR, but I had a bad experience with a bike. DW and the boys thought it would be nice to rent a bike at the Boardwalk area, so I agreed and we rented the bike where the kids sit in the front because they were not tall enough to reach the peddals. So we are off and I was going strong, DW said she was helping too but I knew she wasn't. Needless to say, by the time we got around the loop once I was really feeling it, we get around to the furthest point from where you return the bike and I had to stop, at this point I think I needed someone to bring some oxygen, we made it back and I said that was the first and last time for that! (I am happy to say I have dropped a lot of weight this year and may just try it again)

That's a funny story.. (I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time LOL)

I got an email PIN this time. You can try too! Log on to your Disney account and save 5 trips for different resorts at different times of the year. It seemed to work for me!

The fever is gone! Thank goodness. She had it for about 36 hours. No other symptoms though.

I hope you end up getting a PIN. {insert crossing fingers smilie here} I wonder if you get the gift card along with a discount, or if you have to pay rac rate to get the giftcard?

We are gonna get a lot of snow here too! They are predicting 10-16''. I hope my job doesn't get canceled tonight but it probably will.

LOL I really came out on the short end of the stick this time. Mel actually slept out last night. Our friends who we are going to WDW with are back in CT for two weeks. Mel & Branda went to the casino and stayed over there. She will be home some time this afternoon.

Dave and the kids came over last night and had dinner, then the kids proceeded to trash the house. They had a blast doing it!

Melody is set on going to WDW in December. So depending on when Juliana has her wish trip, we could be going 3 times next year. September is always a busy wedding month for me.. it is hard to take off a weekend.

I think it would be better to go earlier in December.. I might be there during the DIS Dads meet. That would be really kewl!

I just got off the phone with Disney and got some prices for March 14-16th at CBR $307 and POP $225 with my PIN code. I think we are going to end up staying at CBR. Plus when Disney releases the AP rate hopefully I can save another 10% off that. I didn't pull the trigger on either yet.

I'm waiting for the email stating that I owe the balance on the house. I'm really not looking forward to paying that. At least we already have tickets and after the house all we have to pay for is food... Oh yea and a rental car too... I forgot about that. Anyone out there want to fund my vacation??

I took a few people's advice and saved a few trips on the Disney website. Low and behold I got a pin!!!!!! There are a few blackout weeks but it is basically for all of 2010!!! 20% off values, 30% off mods, & 40% off deluxes.. I'm really excited!!! I think within the next few days I'm gonna do some booking and hope the AP rate comes out with a better deal. The AP rates for the beginning of 2010 are mods for $89 a night. I hope they release more dates soon. Thanks to those who gave me a little hint on getting the pin!!!!!

I'm happy to say up to this point I've lost 75 lbs, I started in Feb and I have about 20 more to go. I kinda let things get out of hand and to be honest I never even noticed it had gotten that bad.

This last 20 is proving to be the hardest.
