Time to DOUBLE up!! 2 for 1 Pre-TR!!!!!!! TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED!!!!!!!

See....you are learning! You listened to Juliana...you always listen to the woman--doesn't matter her age. :rotfl:

I've been ignoring my own PTR for the last few days and I will get back on track soon. I just wanted to post a pic from Halloween. I got dressed up too and even got some candy for myself which I quickly ate.

I will post sometime tomorrow to let you know the results of her scans and bloodwork. We usually don't find out until 4 or so.

I love the picture!
Thats great that her tests came back good!

I like you more and more each minute! :lmao::dance3:
Thank you! Sometimes you just have to pound this in to a man's head! :rotfl2:
HEY! This is 2 -vs- 1! LOL
ain't that the bloomin' truth?! But, Tim's a quick learner! ;)
Yeah, he's not bad for a guy.:lmao::lmao:
OH GEEZ.:sad2::rolleyes1

Aw, you're such a nice Daddy. :)
Thanks! It's all about my princess:
I am SOOOOO glad she is feeling better!

That is excellent news! :thumbsup2
She still has a fever today but she is acting normal. She also still has a minor runny nose and a little cough. Her fever is around 100. Yesterday it was up to 102.7. We are getting there. We are still waiting to hear the results from the 2nd N1H1 test.

We went to the zoo last weekend for Boo at the Zoo and we saw a hidden Mickey. Mel and I saw it and thought the same thing at the same time. It is some kind of fungi growing on a tree.

I need to get this PTR back on track. I need to come up with some direction. I guess I have to look at WDW as a 1st time guest. (Like our friends are going to be) They are at an advantage, they are going with people with some WDW knowledge. I'm not saying I know it all- I don't. But they will have an advantage that we didn't have on our first trip 2 years ago.

As I can tell from their input thus far, I'm not sure they are going to give me much input. I want them to have options. That is one reason why I have scheduled 2 open days in our schedule. Also I won't be offended if they want to go explore on their own. I hope they really enjoy themselves and are able to see WDW as Melody & I see it.

There are going to be a few days we leave early and get back late. The house we rented is 10 minutes (literally) from AK going the back road near AKL. I don't think we are going to leave the parks to take breaks or naps. Our friends kids aren't morning people. If we are walking into the parks by 10AM I would consider that good.

With all this being said, I need to come up with a few ideas that 1st timers NEED to see. In the upcoming days and weeks(i guess), I'll try to keep this PTR interesting for you... and me too. (LOLOL):rotfl:

OK, I just have to say, that was a really cool HM, even though it was so totally random! Neat! (Yeah, I'm a goob, I liike that word).

Hmmmm... first timers... that is sooo funny you'd bring that up. I was laying in bed last night thinking, well reminiscing about my first trip to the House of Mouse back in January, 2001, and there really are so few memories. I was actually going to do a long post of those memories and comment some on my failing long-term memory.

I think just to let them explore without showing them everything you know is in a lot of ways a good thing. The only time I wish I had had someone who knew something was when we went to AK. We were like lost, wandering puppies in there, with no clue. We finally gave up and left after about 4 hours, and went back to MK.

Arranging meals is great, but letting them discover and use this first trip just to get a general "feeling" of what each park is would be wise. Of course, i think if they know the say, top 3 highlights of each park, just to give them direction would be really helpful too.

Wow, that's a neat hidden Mickey!
We thought it was too! We look for them every day! (Yea we are weird!!!)

The best is when Juliana finds cars with the Mickey Head antenna topper on them. She shouts it out!!

It is amazing how digital cameras and camcorders have changed our society. Everything is documented now. I look back to when I was a kid and there are about 300 pictures of my whole childhood. Now there are over 300 pic taken a month (probably more!). It is so different.

I hear what you are saying about AK. When you left, you were probably saying you didn't like that park. I really want them to be able to explore on their own. So separating for a little while wouldn't be so bad.

You know I had to book a few ADRs or we would be eating CS for every meal. I want them to be able to see the fun of a character meal with their kids. I know their kids will have a blast at them. 3 Highlights from each park is a good idea. Like hit TSM first at DHS would be a must..

How did that H1N1 test come out? popcorn::

I somehow missed that the Pirate was you.... Not paying attention! :rotfl2: What an awesome picture and she is beautiful!

For some reason my post, which I wrote yesterday, is not on here.:confused3

Juliana's test came back and she has the flu. They are not testing for a specific type here, but they are saying most likely it is H1N1. We started her on Tamiflu yesterday and she hasn't had a fever since Tuesday morning. She is back to her normal self and seems fine. Besides some chills on Monday night and a little cough, she hasn't had any major symptoms. We are keeping a close eye on her. Thank you all for thinking of her.princess:

I've been wondering since we talked yesterday morning how she was doing. I'm glad she is feeling better. I hope you gave her my hug.

Even if it was/is the flu, I"m glad you could set your minds at ease with having a diagnosis. Uber glad, she is seeming to bounce right back from it too!! How scary, given her history!

I"ve lost mega-posts before--- soooooooooooo hate when that happens. :headache:

I've given her your hug and a million other ones too! How is Mark? Did he find out anything yet?

She honestly looks and seems fine. We have heard of kids getting better then getting sick again, so that's why we started her on the Tamiflu.

I honestly posted something yesterday about this, but when I came to look today, there was nothing about it. :confused3 I donno?:confused3

I'm so glad you caught it early and are keeping a close eye on her. I hope she heals quickly and that you and DW avoid catching it from her too!

Yes, I posted on my thread about "What Would you do?" Mark has a protruding disc.
I didn't se it last night. I was watching my Yankees win. ;) Posted on your thread.

So far so good with us not getting anything. Hopefully this is it for her. Weird how I was talking to you about your kids this weekend then Juliana gets it. Karma.:sad2:
