*DUH!

I thought I would find it here!! :3dglasses

BTW - dd said she'd loved to watch Julianna (I've shown her your TR esp the breakfast one!!) Tell you DW she can interview my dd ahead of time!! :wizard: (as in, once you get DD to talking.... she will talk your ear off!! But she is one responsible kid! ) Now, my parents on the other hand thinks all y'all are strangers.... :rolleyes1

One year we went to F&W and my parents were going to watch DD while DH and I did a "date night" at Party of the Senses - well, they were "tired" and were going to the hotel - so dh and I ran into a "DIS'er" who had a DD same age, and her brother (in his 40's) was going to take their dd, and wouldnt our dd like to join them? HECK YES!! :rotfl: My dad was appalled!! SHOCKED and Appalled!! He put a pretend mike up to my face "and tell the world on this news station why you thought it was a good idea to leave your dd WITH STRANGERS?!" He nearly didnt get over that one!! :rotfl:

I just wanted to let everyone know that last Thursday at this time I was sweating my... ummmm.. butt off in AK in 97 degree heat. Right now I am looking outside and it is snowing out. YES SNOWING!!!!!! The white stuff is flying over here!!!! I WANT TO GO BACK TO DISNEY!!!!:sad::sad::sad:

Ummm, you ARE in Conn.!! It's freakin cold here too; they haven't turned my heat on yet either.... I"m actually wearing a blankie IN my house.

I'm testing this out to see if it works.... Snow at 2:00pm today!!! And it is still snowing coming down even harder!!!!

Click on the pic to see the video!!!!

EDIT: 4 o'clock update... it's still coming down.

Can I come with you? When we landed at home on September 29 -- it was 49 degrees (when we left Orlando it was 93 degrees). It has not been above 50 since we got back, and down in the low 30's every night. Nothing but rain and more rain and that "S" word is in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

Must be weird to go from baking butt hot, to shivering snow flurries!! Looks like a long, cold winter comin' your way...

You know those snow pictures are great IF it were December - Jan, or even February!

BUT as much as I LOVE THE SNOW - not so much in Oct, Nov, April or May :scared1:

EEEK! We've avoided it so far. I really hate cold weather. You have a pretty back yard!

I have the day off of school, so B/F and I came home yesterday. I was watching the weather channel this morning and it said it's snowing up at school! ICK. :sad1:

Sounds like the same crappy weather we are having here. I love winter but not in the middle of October!!! I think we are going to have a long, cold, snowy winter here.

It was around 37 here yesterday. Last week in Florida it was 97. You do the math!!!!!!!! LOLOL:rotfl:

We usually have some November and April snow here. October though???? REALLY????:confused3

Oh thank you! You can hear Juliana in the back ground a bit. It was only a 20 second clip... hopefully it wasn't too boring!!!!

There is a board at Juliana's school that has info for the parents... today the first line was 'Merry Chr' with it crossed out. I thought it was funny! There was about 1-2 inches of snow on the grass.

Hey Tim -

That's a lovely smiley in your siggy - the "Happy Autumn" with the leaves - but I think you're too late - you need the one with the snowflakes!!

;)

OK my trusty followers. I've been ignoring this PTR since I started my TR.. there has been a minor development. Last night I was looking at airfare for our March trip. We are going to leave on Wednesday March 3. We are flying to Tampa to see Melody's grandparents for a few days, then driving up to Orlando to check into the house on Saturday 3/6. We have the house for 8 nights ending on Sunday 3/14. The flights home on Sunday are $240-$300. On Monday, the price is $125. Well folks, I think we are going to add another day to our trip and come home Monday 3/15! I think I am going to get a room only ressie for Sunday night! That will give us another full day in the park!!!

I am really excited about this!!! Now can I push coming home till Tuesday? LOLOL:rotfl: I wonder if it is worth staying one night at a deluxe? If we are spending all day in a park then on a Monday flight at 12 it probably isn't worth it. But maybe if on Sunday we didn't go to a park and just hung out at the hotel it might be worth it. What do you all think?

WOW! That's quite some kick butt development!! Awesome!

Yeah, like you say, if you're hanging out at the resort all day, then go with the deluxe, just to do the pool and grounds. If not, try to get POP, or try a different value, or even off-site.

You both DO have the time off work for this, right?? ;)

I'm open on the weekdays in March and Mel has 1 scheduled weekday off a week, so she can request to have that Monday off. :) I have a Disney addicted wife too. This could turn out to be a dangerous combination.:lmao:

Hey, if you want dangerous - go submit a request on the rent/trade board for the one night at BLT!! At least price it out!! and then compare it to one night at the Polynesian (unless you are more of a Grand Floridian type person!!)

The pros for BLT - walk to Magic Kingdom - the view, they pipe the music thru the tv! (for wishes) the Cons - well the room's bathroom is weird... the bathroom sink is the kitchenette sink, and the door doesnt lock :confused3 - we stay studios for the 3 of us - but the 1 bedroom has the WOW factor!!

If you don't think you'll ever do a deluxe for numerous nights, then I would do it for one night. If you want to go to the parks, then I would do the Poly or CR (I don't care for the GF--too "stuffy" for us); if you just want to hang at the resort, then I would do AKL and Juliana could see all of the animals, etc.

We're having a dilemna right now. Assuming we go next year, we are going to Disney for five days and then Marco Island again. I've always wanted to stay at AKL (we've done the Cont. and Poly and the Beach Club is the only other one besides AKL we want to try); I can get the AKL for $440 more than the CSR for five nights. Then someone here on the DIS suggested we do AKL for three nights, then go to Marco Island, and then go back to Disney and stay at the CSR for three or four nights. :scared1: I don't know what to do now.

Sandy... I've visited the rent/trade board a few times but just to see what it was. I don't know all the ins and outs. I think we are more of a Poly type than GF. The CR looks nice but it looks like any other hotel. I've never been in or even seen a BLT room. Maybe I should research it.

I posted in your poll. Hopefully you will get some help! I think with an AP you can get AKL or WL for $150 a night. Moderates are $89 and values are $54. I might leave this up 2 my DW.
