She was the newest member of the Joy Fit Club. She lost over 100 lbs. Here a link to her appearance on the show. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/32629060#32629060

At 29 sec into the video my DW is in the picture on the left hand side. I guess she is famous now too! LOL

We just wanted a bounce house and they happen to have a Princess one. Luck of the draw i guess! Of course Juliana was sooo excited!

You are getting soo close! Have you read any September reports yet? Everyone is saying that the lines are non-existent!!!!!!!!:woohoo: Hopefully they stay that way to our trips!

The countdown is on!!!! Before I start with our ADR's and some menu choices I want to let you know about our conversation on Monday at my dad's house....we went over for a mini picnic.

I don't know if you remember (or were late joining) but at a picnic at my brothers house, in the beginning of the summer, my Mom breaks out with 'We should do a family Disney vacation' out of no where. Well yesterday at my dad's the conversation came up again. It actually went as far as everyone agreeing on a Disney land & sea vacation... and some dates to check out. The dates are: Last week of June 2010/2011, September 2010 around Yom Kippur (Jewish Holiday)(my sister teaches and gets the Jewish Holidays off), October 2010 Columbus Day week, and November 2010 Veterans Day week.

Last year my brother and his wife did the land and sea 7 days for $800pp including park tickets. So I started searching the last week of June and just for the sea portion it was around $4500 for DW, DD, and I.:scared1::scared1:

I have no clue how they got that deal. I think they booked it off of Expedia or one of those sites. I do realize that time of year has something to do with it but $4500 is a HUGE price difference to what they paid. I think I need to spend some time on the DCL boards and try to pick up some tips.

If anyone has ideas let me know! DW & I have also started talking about starting the process of getting Juliana her wish. I'm pretty sure she would want to goto Disney... plus DW & I are not getting any younger:hourglass(like the possibility of having a baby)

We just booked a cruise leaving Jan 31 for 7 days. We're with Carnival and it's costing us $1000 for 2 adults. With Disney, it was over $2000... Even I couldn't justify that.

Personally, I'm thinking the Sept., 2010 dates sounds just about right. We could instantly go from TC3 to TC6- see how that works??

I could do a week at WDW 3 times over for THAT price. No way would I pay $4,500 for what you'd get. No. WAY!

Awwww, a little brother or sister... so sweet! And way better than all the time in the world at Disney.

I can book a Carnival cruise for 4-5 days for $200-$300pp Then I can splurge at Disney.....like get crazy and stay at the Poly or something. $4500 seems like a LOT of money for 4 days.... Basically $1200 a day... I'd fly out to Hawaii for that price.

Leisa... I'm going to check your dates again... you never know!:rolleyes1 You will be in Disney the beginning in September.. We are looking towards the end of September. :sad2:

I signed up Juliana to be on the Fairy Godmailer List! We found a FGM last night!!!! She will be so excited to receive a card from Cinderella!!!!

We are arriving Saturday morning, picking up the rental car, and heading over to POP. Our flight lands at 10:30 so I'm thinking we will be able to get to POP by 12. Hopefully we will be able to get into our room. Now with staying for 5 days we get 5TS, 5CS, and 5 snacks X3. The TS are pretty much spoken for but I need to work on where we are going to use those CS and even 15 snacks over 5 days. I'm thinking if we get into our room and settled we might just eat a CS at POP for lunch. Down to 12. Then we are going to drive over to Ocoee- where Mel's cousin lives. We will most likely have dinner there.

Sunday morning is the baptism. I'm not sure what time it is yet. So depending on the time, we might eat breakfast at POP or just grab something quick on the road. We will spend all day with Mel's cousin and Sunday night we have a ressie at Reglan Rd. in DTD at 7pm. paying OOP. I hope we actually do get to eat here. I am really excited about it. I already know I am going to order the beer flight (thanks to my2disneyboys TR) and she spoke very highly about the bread pudding for dessert, which I am thinking about too. Now what to get for dinner?????? I've looked over this menu quite a few times and I just can't decide what I'm going to want to eat.:confused3:confused3

Okay, this place has some serious choices! I could never pick- there are just too many, and none really just screams, "CONSUME me!" I guess I'd wait on this one until I got there to see what I'm in the mood for. I agree with Tink, though, the mussels do sound really good. Hmmm... I just don't know.

What was that baby remark?
Just saying that I'm not getting any younger... who knows if there might be a new addition in my future?:confused3

Oh my goodness...the mussels sound good to me!

It's funny that you say mussels.... I was thinking that. Depending on how late we have lunch I might end up just having *AHEM* a salad. :rotfl:
Here are my choices:
APP-
Chicken Licken', Calamari City, or Scallop Forest.
Dinner-
BLT salad (maybe add the shrimp)
It's not bleedin' chowder... probably too heavy???
Traditional Guinness and Onion Banger
Crock 'o' Mussels
Desserts-
Can I try each one??? LOL

Coming up next.... Monday 10/5 Breakfast!!!!popcorn:: (no we are not having popcorn for breakfast!;))

I had the meatballs last time..they were so so so good..and my bf had the fish & chips, declared them the best he'd ever had..everything there is so yummy, plus they give you Irish soda bread with oil & guiness to dip it in..mmmm...

I don't know how I skipped over the meatballs.:confused3 I was thinking of that too! I didn't know about the Irish soda bread...mmmm I'm getting hungry already.. oh wait.. I haven't had breakfast yet!:rotfl2:

If it were me, which it is not, unfortunately, I'd go with:

Scallops
Salad WITH the shrimp
and Bread Pudding

With Iced Tea

But, that's just me-- from here :surfweb:

This will be our 3rd time eating here and the 1st two times haven't disappointed!!! I have ordered the Tonga Toast and the Macadamia Nut Pancakes. I don't know which one I like more?:confused3

Anyways when I asked DW what she was going to order she said the Tonga Toast. She asked me what I wanted I said maybe the Big Kahuna. I'll get my Macadamia Nut pancakes plus a bunch of other food. I know DW will share a little Tonga Toast with me. Of course we will get the pressed pot... it's the only coffee I will drink. I will also order the Lilikoi Juice. If you have never had this juice you gotta try it! It is sooo good and it costs $4!:scared1: Juliana will probably have the Mickey Pancakes.

I love when breakfast tops $50 for 3 people.. but it is sooo good and sooo worth it IMO.

So has anyone eaten anything else here for breakfast? Is there something else I should try? Am I missing out by eating the same thing every time?:confused3:confused3 I'm curious to hear what YOU have to say.. plus just wondering if anyone is out there!:lmao:

Oh man...both the Tonga Toast and Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes sound good to me right now! And I'll drink the Kona Blend Coffee por favor!

Can't tell you a thing about Kona! Not one thing. Sorry.

Nevertheless, I am very good at giving my opinion, as you well know, and this is no exception where I"ll withhold.

For sure go with the Big Kahuna! Now that sounds like a breakfast you could put away. Noshing at the Poly ON ANYTHING sounds scrump-tatulicious to me!

And yes, a pressed pot, or maybe two!

mmm..breakfast food....yummmm...i want it now! lol. I would get the tonga toast..but that's just because i've never had it!
