Time to allocate to Shula's Dinner

I have a dinner reservation for Shula's at the Dolphin, I set it for 5:45PM. I was wondering how long I should expect that to take. It will be Sept, on a Saturday night. The reason I ask is I'm planning on getting tickets for the 9:00 La Nouba showing, and I want to make sure dinner won't be more than 2 hours.

I plan on cabbing it to DTD to avoid any issues with the bus.

I would plan on about 2 hours.
I think your time frames are good, as long as you are getting a cab to DTD.

Two hours should be plenty. I'd let your waiter know about your plans when you sit down so they can properly pace the meal.

If you ask for a cab at the Dolphin, they will try to put you into a (more expensive) town car. Be firm that you want a cab. They will tell you you'll have to wait while they call one, don't bite on that, the wait will be only a couple of minutes.
