Time SW booking opens

For those who have booked SouthWest the last few times they have opened up new dates, what time (eastern) were you able to book online? Getting ready for Monday!

I'm in the group needing to book flights during Spring Break, tomorrow 10/14 when the new SWA batch opens up.

Typically what is the release time? I know it can vary but can some of you post the times they appeared? I believe I've read as early as 6am and as late at 9am EST? I actually hope it's earlier as I have an eye appt I need to leave at 9am EST time for.

I'd like to know this too! I was going to be free all day but now I'll be traveling to Pittsburgh and back for a drs appt cause my little one broke her leg and it needs to be set by the specialist. She kinda threw a wrench in my plans.

Where do I find a schedule of when dates are opened? I'm looking to book for August 2014. We flew SW for the first time last year and I will never fly another!!!! I want to make sure we get a good deal for August and I thought I was told lowest prices are right when booking window opens up. Thanks for any and all info!!!!

Awww, thanks everyone. She may only be three but thankfully she's my tough one! Off to Children's Hospital tomorrow! I may have to bring the iPad with me to snag some flights on the run tomorrow if the price is right!

I'm on Southwest's website right now and although booking is not open yet, their website now says..."We are currently accepting air reservations through June 6, 2014. On December 16, 2013, we will open our schedule for sale through August 8, 2014. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently."

I got even better flights than we thought we could!!!! We're maximizing our time as much as possible now. Got the first flight out to MCO in the morning and the last one into PIT and even at the prices I wanted (ok, not wanted but anticipated lol). Wahooooo!!!!! It's real now!!!!!! OMG I'm taking my DDs to Disney for the first time ever!!!!!

Got PVD-MCO the day after Easter returning the following Monday. Times and prices pretty good...all 3 of us for a little over $800, which I'll take on a school vacation week. Glad that's done!

Yep, we did awesome too - better than I expected so no complaining here. We used points for the three of us and it ended up the equivalent of $129 each way or $257 roundtrip per person *and* the times were all perfect and on SWA metal, not Airtran!

I'm also very glad that's over and now we can book our hotel pre-cruise and sit back and relax until our Spring Break cruise!
