Time period for choosing FP?

Is it 30 days? That's as far as the calendar goes out for me. Yet, I have read that people have chosen FP for their trip before the MC, and that's August 24.

If you have a Disney Resort Reservation and park admission linked to MDE, you can begin to make FP+ selections at 60 days prior to your check-in date.

Everyone with park admission linked to MDE can make FP+ selections up to 30 days prior to the day of use.

The calendar will open up (to the 60 day mark) and they'll send you an email saying you can begin booking FP+. The date of your room stay is the point at which the 60 day mark counts.

Ok, so I wait until I am 60 days out, then the calendar opens. I do not arrive until August 23, the day before the cruise.

For a 8/23 check-in, the 60 day window is today (6/24).
