Time limits to park at resorts?

Hoping to get a breakfast ADR at Poly and then spend some time touring the various resorts, looking at the decor, shopping etc.

I heard that for a while the monorail resorts were giving a color coded parking tag to allow parking only for the length of ADR.

Are they still doing this?

Haven't seen any kind of parking tag being given out at the resorts for many, many years now.

Disney doesn't want people parking for free at one of the monorail resorts and then spending the day @ MK in an effort to 'game' the parking fee. Those parking lots would fill up with park goers leaving no room for those actually staying at the resort. While having an ADR lets you park at the resort for a limited amount of time, Disney tends to be more strict enforcing the parking rules at places nearer to one of the parks. For the poly I would just park at the TTC it’s such a short walk then no limitation on time

The unverified "rule" (as in not posted anywhere) is there is a 3-hour limit, but I would follow what @Minniesgal suggested that way you don't have any worries.

I've often wondered why Disney doesn't have the guards give people parking a "parking pass"... just a colored piece of paper, they can write down the time it "expires"... put it in the dash. Then it makes it easier to see who should/shouldn't be parked. Change the color daily. Yes, someone could forge it, but the amount of people that would go through that trouble on a given day at a given resort would be pretty small I think.

They do have security cars going through the lots as well as cameras everywhere. They know who has parked where.

Lol no they don't. They can get that information if there's an incident and they need to research or investigate something, but they don't actively track comings and goings or where you park.

Park at the TTC and walk to the Poly. Just angle slightly left once you get past the upramps to the monorail. You'll see the pathway entrance ahead. A mere 5-10 minutes and you'll come out at the corner of Pago Pago. Go to its front and take a right onto the sidewalk toward the GCH. You can easily hop onto the monorail there.

Or, drive to the Poly (or any other monorail resort) and valet park. You can leave your car in valet parking all day or park at another Deluxe with valet parking for no additional charge.

Cars left at the Epcot and monorail resorts can get towed. We've seen it happen.

Resort guests don’t get passes to put on their dash. A visitor could simply take the “parking pass” and hide it away so the car would look no different from the legitimate resort guests.

I parked at Bay Lake Tower and drove in and out everyday for a week. I never had a pass to say we were staying there so i dont think their is any limit once you have parked for an ADR. Just my personal experience.

We stayed at BLT first week of March this year (2022)

The only comment I will have is various times of the day I have seen a line of cars waiting to pull into and park at CR. We stayed at WL and the bus to anywhere would stop there later in the day as well as the Disney springs bus all times. Can not say if they were valet, turned away, resort guests or otherwise.
