Time from airport using DME to park

My plane lands Sunday at 9:45am in MCO. How long does it typically take to get from the airport to the hotel using Disney's Magical Express? Most efficient way to get to the park the fastest? I plan on my carry on being very small (just my park bag) since with southwest I can take two checked bags for free. Do I have to get off at *my* resort? Can I get off at the first stop and get to the other bus stop for the park? I'm staying at Disney's All Star Sports. Tell me all I need to know about getting to the park in the shortest amount of time from DME!


What's the process once I'm at my resort? Are my bags left at the desk since check in isn't til 3pm?

It takes 'about' 70 mins, from gate to resort. Usually no longer than 90 mins. Can you get off at the first stop, if it's not your resort? Sure. If you're able to keep your carry on bag with you, in the park, should be very easy. Especially if you've done on-line check in.
If you've tagged your checked bags with the yellow DME tags, the bags should be delivered right to your room
With on-line check in, you will get your room number, via text message, when it's ready.

You will probably save about 30 mins doing this....probably less. It's up to you to decide if it's worth it.
