time frame question from a newbie

Hi everyone,

I am just starting to read about renting points. If I am planning on being at Disney from June 6-June 14, 2006, when would I need to start watching the rental board for availability?

DVC members can book a room at their Home resort up to 11 months out. If you want to guarantee the resort / room size you really want, I'd start looking right after July 1st '05, with the intention of booking as close to July 15 as possible.
