Time Frame for ordering Groceries

Not only does it depend on who you order from, but when you are going. If, for example, you are going during a busy time of year (christmas, easter, etc.) then you might want to consider as early as you can afford to. This will ensure that you get the delivery time slot that suits you best.

We have always ordered at least a month or two in advance. But we're nerds! :-)
 

I placed an order tonite for a delivery on Wednesday from Garden Grocer - but I didn't intentionally wait until now, I just forgot to do it earlier.
 
One trip I left it for a week before and they were all booked. It was not a holdiay week either - not sure why
