Ok, i wasn't going to do any planning for this trip, but after reading loads of threads I decided it would be best to have a very loose plan, just literally what parks what days.

So I was wondering how much time to give each of the parks?
I'm using the busy day guide (askdaisy.net/orlando) and I'm planning to go to each of the parks on there lightest days, to avoid heavy lines.

We're going for 3 weeks so we shouldn't need to rush any of the parks...

Just wondering how long to see each of the parks, do the rides etc...

Thanks

We are going for 5 days 4 nights...and plan on hitting MGM on day 1 (travel day)...AK till closing then epcot for the night...our last two days are full days at MK and Epcot!

There are passes available to UK residents that aren't available to those of us in the U.S.--14 and 21 day passes. You might want to check the cost to see what works best for you. You also may want to consider WDW water park options, if you enjoy that type of activity.

You'll probably want to schedule some time for Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure and SeaWorld during your visit, so the 14 day pass would be a good option.

The amount of time in each park really depends on who is in your party and their interests. Obviously, young children and those who are older or have mobility issues would require a slower pace than teens/young adults who can tear through everything quickly!

For a 7-night visit (which is 5 full days for us), we usually plan 2 days each at MK and EPCOT and one day split between AK and Studios. That's subject to change each visit, but most of our time is spent at MK and EPCOT--just a matter of personal preferences!

With a 14-day ticket, I would initially plan two days each at MK and EPCOT, and a full day each at AK and Studios, then returning to parks to catch things you missed or enjoyed most.

You can usually do everything in Animal Kingdom in 1 day, where MK and Epcot take at least 2 days, and MGM 1 1/2-2 days, depending on the ages of your children. I have a 2 year old, 5 year old, and 11 year old, and the younger ones can only take a few hours a day of MGM-it's a lot of shows to sit through. It sounds like you have plenty of time to do it all, complete with waterparks and a day off here and there. Have fun!
