Time for Disney Shuttle?

Our flight from MCO after our cruise is 11:51am.

We have an internal Delta flight to JFK and then onto London so don't know if we can use the onboard airline check in?

Second question is whether we will have time to use the Disney Shuttle (we will be prepped to try and be one of the first off the boat) or whether arranging a private transfer would make more sense time wise?

I don't know about the international aspect with the luggage and OAC...but I do know that to use it you have to book either your air or Disney shuttle through DCL AND the flight has to be after the cut-off point.

They will have busses lined up and ready to go, so if you wanted to do self-walkoff I'd think you would just be put on the first bus and when it fills off you go. Keep in mind that if you can't do OAC and want to do self-walkoff you have to handle all of your luggage yourself as there is no one to assist.

Only domestic flights after 11:30 can qualify for the Onboard Airline Checkin. If your flight is one flight, with a connection in New York, it would not qualify.

As noted, you can't use the onboard checkin unless you've purchased either the DCL transfers and/or your (qualifying) airline tickets through DCL.

If you're first off the ship, chances are you'll make an 11:15 flight, but private transport would probably be more efficient.
