What is the time difference on the Western Cruise between Port Canaveral and Cozumel? On what days does the time change going over and coming back ? :scratchin

Many thanks for your help.

You know Otimon, :scratchin I don't remember.
I think it's an hour, but don't quote me on that yet.
[edit: yep, it's an hour behind]

Regardless, you always stay on ship's time, so really there isn't a time change.

Guess I was wrong and never noticed the time changes!!!

Check out the navigators on Dave's site for more info on the time changes!

The time in Cozumel is the same as the Central Time Zone (like Chicago) in the US. Cozumel also observes Daylight Saving Time.

What this means on the Disney Magic's Western Caribbean itinerary is:
-- Tuesday night (before bed) or Wednesday morning, you adjust your watch back one hour to Central Time.
-- When you visit Cozumel, your watch is on local Cozumel time.
-- Wednesday's events and meals on the ship are on local Cozumel time.
-- Wednesday night (before bed) or Thursday morning, you adjust your watch forward one hour, back to Eastern Time.

Also, seee http://www.dcltribute.com/faq/timezone.htm

fwiw, the best possible time to cruise is the last Sat night in Oct. We did this (without thinking about it) the first time we cruised and you "fall back" that evening and IMMEDIATELY gain an extra hour.

Bliss, pure bliss

I imagine the first Sat in April is the worst when you "spring forward". Do they give a 1 hour discount for that one? LOL
