I don't blame you, for $600 I would have done the exact same thing.....and you hit the nail on the head...you're at Disney, how bad can it be

Thanks, felt good to save those 600 big ones : )Thats sounds like a good plan
What an awesome amt you are saving by doing this

I agree, it is a lot of money. They gave specific directions on the podcast, you could google "Delish bakery", it's right by Disney, not on property.I'm all for saving money! And, $600 IS a lot of money. Can't wait to see where you want to eat. Where is this bagel place you mentioned. Is that on Disney property somewhere, or just in the area?
I agree. Hope you got all the ADR's you wanted!Saving money is always a good thing!
And groceries for the room definitely saves a ton. Plus, it saves time. More time in the parks
I have to call tomorrow to make ours.
I know, it is a lot. I'll post dining plans this coming week, stay tuned!Wow!!$600 in savings?? that's crazy! Well, I'm on the regular dining plan and we still are able to have some nice sit down dinners. And paying OOP won't be a problem since you'll be saving $600!! Can't wait to hear your dining plans!!
Too funny, I don't think we will do it this trip, so much money to do both parks. Maybe in 2011 before our Cruise on the Disney DreamThat's almost enough $$ to do Universal!
I will tell you all about Delish in our TR of course, bagels are so yummy. Oh yes, wine is a staple on my vacations ; )Sounds like a good plan to me ... $600 is a good amount of savings to use for other things. Can't wait to hear about the Delish bakery ... now I am craving a bagel for breakfast. Having breakfast items and snacks in the room is nice so you don't have to rush out of the room in the morning if you don't want to. It's also nice to have snacks for the afternoon breaks back at the room or at the pool. I have to tease you I like how you listed wine among your other food staples. A girl after my own heart.
Agreed! : )I don't blame you, for $600 I would have done the exact same thing.....and you hit the nail on the head...you're at Disney, how bad can it be
I know : ) Don't let the kids know that though ; )Hurrah for saving $$! Think of all the "extra" souvenirs you could buy...![]()
I agree, it is a lot of money to be saved.Wowza! Saving $600 is a big deal!!! It's hard making those changes, but good for you - and like you said, you're at Disney, so you know you'll have a great time either way!!!!
That is a good suggestion, but I just love Boma breakfast so much and we're staying right on property. I think we'll save the luau for another trip.Great job! That is a huge savings! Woohoo!
I would recommend skipping the breakfasts that you have already done...Boma/Character etc. and enjoy the Luau instead if you haven't done that yet. It is amazing and the food is fantastic! My daughter still talks brings it up and luaus are mentioned. Just a thought.
You are too funny. Yes, we are taking a lot of trips this summer so that money will come in handy.Wow...$600 is a lot of money. La, la, la, la, la....don't want to hear that -LOL! It's definitely a sit up and take notice figure, isn't it?
Well if it means switching out three 2 table credit restaurants for some 1 credits, and eating some breakfasts in the room in order to get an extra summer mini-holiday, I would say it's a no-brainer. Take the Deluxe Dining.Just kidding!!! Obviously the extra Summer holiday sounds a lot more appealing! Especially because now you can sleep in a little later as you won't have to rush off to early morning breakfast ADRS!
Good work Lesley!![]()
We are headed to Grand Haven Michigan this summer and also a trip out to see Diane and family where we will visit New York, I promised Lauren a trip to the American Girl store and Luke and Tim have tickets to a Yankees game with Bryan and Matthew, should be a great time! It's hard to argue with saving $600 especially when you are going to use it for other trips this summer. Where else are you headed?
