Great packing list!
I've got mine on an Excel spreadsheet. My husband thinks I'm nuts.

Yes, very extensive so I won't forget anything : )That is an extensive packing list! I love it. You won't forget anything you need.
Yeah, SO glad I asked Lauren! Can't wait for Blue Man Group, love experiencing new things!Woo hoo for scoring a princess lunch!!! Good thing you asked Lauren!
Blue Man Group should be lots of fun!![]()
Sounds SUPER fun, I've read some stuff online, can't wait!Yay....... I love that you are Lauren are going to go to a princess lunch! What a special memory you will make together!!!
I saw the Blue Man Group about 5 years ago in Chicago and LOVED it!!! However, I don't want to post too many details so I don't spoil it........we were seated a row behind the poncho section and DH and I were asked to participate in one of the "audience participation" portions of the show. All I can say is that we STILL laugh about it today......we had a GREAT time! It is a FUN and DIFFERENT type of show. Be forewarned...it is called the "Poncho Section" for a reason!Your seats will be amazing!!! Can't wait to hear what you think!
I can't believe your trip is getting so close...
You are too sweet!Lesley, you are seriously one of the best Disney planners I know! How did you get this good? Awesome list!
So glad I was able to get the Princess lunch, looks like Diane will join usnow. Yes, we are cruising next summer on the brand new Dream, can't wait!!!Princess lunches seem to be a must as long as you can with little girlsI understand the priority for that one, and so glad you got an ADR! I have always wondered about these podcasts, so I am glad you shared about them -- I will have to check it out!
Packing, wow. Hard to think about that but it is coming, isn't it??!! Blue Man Group! FUN! I bet that will be a great evening for everyone! Are you going on a cruise next year? I saw that in a reply! I may have missed your info, but YAY! We are going on our first family cruise next year, too. DH and I have been before, just went alone for a short cruise this Feb, and have another solo cruise booked for next Feb too! Your kids will LOVE it.

Thanks! Tim said he'll have to get real creative with the packing this year. Glad to hear you enjoyed the show, can't wait to see it ourselves!Congrats on getting the princess lunch and poncho seats for Blue Man Group.I have seen the show, and have sat in the poncho section in NYC. So much fun, I really enjoyed it. What a great way to spend a birthday.
I am sure you will be able to fit everything in the car. But don't forget you have a car, so you can always go to Walgreens for anything that doesn't .
Wow, you are almost in the teens for your countdown.Your trip will come up quickly now.
I was so glad Akershus was available. Unplugging your washer and dryer when you aren't using them, not only when you are on vacation has saved us a TOn on our electric bill this year.Getting closer!! Sounds like you are right on top of it all.
Blue Man Group sounds great!! We have never seen them but it sounds like a great time.
That is great that you got an ADR at Akershus. If that is what Lauren mentioned as the one thing she is looking forward to than I would have done the same thing. You are right they are only young once.
We unplug some appliances but need to leave the tv plugged in to tape all our shows while we are gone We are still trying to play catch up from our trip 3 weeks ago.
So glad you enjoyed the envelope trick, I'll be getting my ready these next weeks. You are quite welcome!Lesley, as you know I just came back from a quick trip with my daughter. I tried your envelope money thing and it worked perfectly! I plan on doing this for our 2 1/2 week trip this coming December as well. It kept me on track and within budget. Thanks for the idea!
I just don't think we would use them much, and don't want another expense but thanks for the idea, maybe??Have you thought of getting an owner's locker? We have 2 and love them!
Too funny!!!Great packing list!
I've got mine on an Excel spreadsheet. My husband thinks I'm nuts.
Hi Diane! I am hapyp too and happy you can join us! Yes, wine opener is on me : )Sooo happy for Lauren that she gets to see the princesses for lunch! So glad you were able to get in! Cool about the Blue Man group, I know how much you wanted to see them! Our adventures are almost here...glad to see your wine opener on that packing list, now I don't have to bring one!
Glad you enjoyed the list. Yes, Cleo's are the BEST!!! The are the only thing I wear in the parks, great when it starts raining and for water rides, they never slip off and they are COMFY!Nice packing list. I will be sure to make one for our August trip.
Lesley, I've noticed you wear Cleo Crocs (I've been a fan of your trip reports!). I'm looking into a sandal/flip flop for our trip and was wondering about these. I am not really of fan of the traditional Crocs but these look nice. Seems they would be great in the HOT weather and for the water rides. Thanks!
Pool looks so nice and blue, can't wait to see it in person!I just looked back at the first of this report and saw that your view looked something like our Mother's Day view.

Our room was the corner room center on the left side on the top floor in this picture.

You can really tell the difference since they have painted the pool bottom. I didn't think I'd like it so much, because the more greenish seemed to fit in with the theme, but it looks great in person.
Let me know when you hear it. The boys will be at Animal Kingdom with Bryan, Eric and Matthew, Diane is going to tag along with Lauren and I and we will have a princess girls lunch : )Can't wait to hear you on the podcast! I'm a week behind, but hopefully today while I fold laundry I can catch up...
That's great you were able to score the ressie for you and Lauren! What will the boys do while you're at lunch?
Thanks Melody!Heard your review on the podcast! Way to go!
We don't do weekly newspapers anymore, I just buy the Sunday paper, so no need. Too funny about your DH.You are a girl after my own heart! I always make packing lists for all our trips, both large & small. Also, I'm the one that packs everything & loads the car. My DH is a packing challenged individual, he throws everything in willy nilly. I once put a full size antique rope bed, a highchair & some other small item into my Firebird. I was able to get the hatch down within a couple of inches!
BTW, did you have newspaper cancellation on your list?
I noticed that you were taking shampoo, etc. I just love the new Disney spa shampoo & conditioner.
Thanks, crazy story, YIKES!!!Fab you got that reservation for you and Lauren
Great packing list to. We always check and double check the plugs are out of the tub etc. Once my Nan and Gramps went away and I was minding their house for them.
I needed the bathroom while I was there, so went upstairs only to find the tub half full with the plug in!! It was only a steady drip but if I had not of checked they would have been away for another weekand all that water could have leaked over the side!
Thanks! It's getting so close, can't wait! Yes, this weather is HEAVENLY!Looks like a great list sweetie!!! That is always one of my FAVORITE parts of planning the trip....makes it all so real!!!! Thank God it is actually starting to feel like summer around here......gets you a little ready for WDW, eh???? Have a great Monday!
Thanks, WELCOME TO THE DIS!Hi Lesley!
I've read your trip reports for a while now...but just finally joined DIS today. Always enjoyed your reports and your Disney planning totally inspires me! Looking forward to your next report!
