That is what I have been hearing on TV. The radio reporter said something completely different. I did read that the Jags only offered the 4th round pick but not an additional one like the Jets.

Jets did not give them an extra pick... they swapped late round picks which wasn't enough to make up for the earlier pick in the 4th the Jags offered.

However it was pretty close... if the Jags offered something like a 3rd I'm sure the Bronco's would have taken it against Tebows wishes to go to the Jets.

He does need to be careful about those little 'fibs' in New York. I don't think the media there will cut him the breaks when he does that like they did here in Denver.

The coach in Jax would have been gritting his teeth. Plus Ryan and Sparano (former Dolphin coach) both got beat by Tebow (yes him, he ran in the winning touchdown/points) this past season. So for both of them to ask for him says to Tim that he has at the very least earned their respect.

I like Tebow but this is what bothers me about his fans. Tebow didn't beat them, the Broncos did. To say Tebow beat these teams does a huge disservice to the rest of the Broncos, particularly the defense.

I am just used to using Xtian as an abbreviation for Christian, it's kind of like Xmas

I am used to using the abbreviation while talking about Metal, I refer to Christian Metal Bands or Christian Hardcore as Xtian Metal or XtianCore, it's just a personal preference.

It would seem that typing out four extra letters is too labor intensive.

I don't use Xian when talking about Christian Metal because there is a Black Metal band named Xian and if you know anything about Black Metal it is the complete opposite of Christian....

Plus Xtian sounds and flows better than Xian, like I said personal preference...

And actually you'd be XFL, but then again you'd be associated with the Vince McMahon / NBC Pro Football League that was an Epic Fail, so that's probably not a good idea

Speaking of XFL, if it were still around I guarantee Vince McMahon would have done everything in his financial power to get Tebow....Tebow is a cash cow and would fit perfectly into the WWE marketing model...

Jets Tebow jerseys are already in the NFL Shop if any Tebowmaniacs need to update, I'm sure they will be available in Pink, Baby Blue and Purple soon enough

Elway, in an interview yesterday, said that Jacksonville actually offered more for Tebow than the Jets did, but it was close enough to give Tebow the choice.

Tebow had a choice between Jets and Jags and he chose the Jets.

btw - there is another snag in the trade with the contract, so as of now, Tebow is still a Bronco. It won't be fixed until Monday, when he officially becomes a Jet.

The boy will be praying that his coach cleans up the locker room language.

Tebow came clean in his press conference today and admitted that Elway did in fact give him a choice between the Jets and Jags. Tebow basically stated that he chose the Jets over Jacksonville because of the rapport he had with the Jets coaching staff.
