O.K., Kiawah, where do I begin. We had such a WONDERFUL time. It was sunny and in the 80's Sunday-Wednesday. Thursday it was only a high of 70 and very windy so we took a wonderful walk to a private beach(quite the hike, kids did well) to see dolphins and look for sandollars. Very nice.
Actually Kiawah was just listed in USA today this week as one of the top get aways. These pictures don't even do it justice but here you go:

Here is a picture of my baby and me on the beach:
They have this WONDERFUL new area with tons of shops, a beautiful grocery store, places to sit, coffee place, hamburger/shake shop (DELICIOUS by the way) just so beautifully landscaped. They had a lollipop shop there where the kids went in and picked out some candy. We sat down so they could eat the candy and we could enjoy the beautiful scenery. Here is Tim soaking it in:
Our favorite time to hit the beach was as the sun was setting. Here are the kids walking out one night on the boardwalk that led to the beach:
Here is a family pic on the beach as the sun was setting - great lighting:

After we took those pics Tim said he had money for ice cream so the kids rode their bikes to the ice cream shop as we followed. Kiawah is a great bike riding place, TONS of paths and people are on bikes all over. I love this pic of the kids because it gives you a sense of how pretty the island is, the flowers, landscaping, just beautiful! It was getting dark in this picture, but here you go:
We had such a FABULOUS time, I can't believe it is over, time sure does fly. I'll be saying this about Disney before you know it. Hope you enjoyed the pics, I highly recommend Kiawah, wonderful place!!! Well, now that we had that little break, BACK TO DISNEY PLANNING!!!!
