Tight timetable, can I make it work?

I'm trying to finalize our touring plan for HS day (Wednesday, Dec 6) and need your advice if this is actually going to work. All of the show times are really bogging me down and I can't figure out how to fit it all in. My biggest concern is making it from Beauty and the Beast to catch the March of the First Order, Star Wars Stage Show, and then to our Star Tours Fast Pass. I have a Star Wars obsessed 5 yr old, so doing all of the Star Wars stuff is a huge priority. Do you think a nighttime Jedi Training Academy is a good choice? My other thought was to do 940am and move Disney Junior Live on Stage to the evening.

805a PPO H&V with Fantasmic- sign up for Jedi Training
Meet Olaf
Disney Junior Live on Stage
Toy Story - FP @ 940a
Voyage of the Little Mermaid (1025a show)
Beauty & The Beast Live (11a show)
March of the First Order
Star Wars Stage Show
Star Tours - FP @ 1045a (thinking I should push this to 11a FP)
Frozen Sing Along - FP @12p
1p - Leave the Park - head back to Poly for R&R (my kids are 5 and 2.5)
Return by 530 for 610pm Jedi Training
Star Wars Launch Bay
Meet Buzz and Woody
Sunset Seasons Greetings
Fantasmic

I don't know how long the StarnWars Stage Show is, but I would definitely change the Star Tours FP to at least 11. My mother and I had 11:45 Brown Derby reservations after the 11 Beauty and the Beast show, and that was just comfortable. B?Add time for your show and the extra distance to Star Tours, and I think you'll be jogging!

I would change some things around, with priorities like SW/characters in the morning when lines may be shorter. Definitely an ambitious schedule, you would want to spread out more - it is difficult to fit in everything at HS in a day, especially with a midday break, you may have to choose favorites. You will see Disney Jr characters at your brft for example, so could skip show if needed. Voyage of the Little Mermaid is not a show in the same way the others are, and is shown all day in a theater every 30 min. with many people, so rarely a wait, and you can fit in anytime. For shows, it is good to get there 30 min ahead to get a closer seat, so that would figure in as well. If you have a second day or half day you could go it is helpful, or do some next trip!

I would do brft /sign up - pick 6:40 show for most time to do others(it will probably be 9:15-9:30 now), catch Olaf, then head to TSM FP and go across to meet Buzz and Woody(before or after depending on line). It will probably be around 10:30 - you can try Launch Bay to try and do Meet&Greets and go out front to stage for Star Wars show around 11:00-11:10 to get spot for 11:30 Star Wars show(15 min) You can see March after that at 12, then head over to Frozen show FP.
Then head back, and if you can get back around 4:30, could head to B&B show for 5 pm, then if possible have ST FP moved to 5:30, do that before line up for Jedi(or do 6:30 FP for after Jedi, and catch LM on way over). Then head to get seats for night show(45-60 min ahead). If you need dinner, Backlot Express is right next to Jedi/Star Tours for before or after).

For night show, Fantasmic is great, but can be scary for young kids - large dragon and serpent, fire, loud noise - just an FYI - you can watch on YouTube to see what you think for your kids. If not doing that you can do Jingle, Jangle, Bam projection show for Christmas at 8 on Chinese Theater.

Hope that helps a little! I know it's not ideal, but just trying to give you some realistic timing possibilities.

That does help a lot. Touring plans said it would all fit, but it seemed really tight. This is our first trip so I really don't have a feel for how any of this is going to go!

Personally, I wouldn't use TP for a first trip with kids that young. As you noticed, their timing is very tight, and you never know what's going to catch the eye of one of your little ones to make you want to stop and take it all in. Make time for your must do's and have a lose "fill-in" for the other things around it.

Touring plans does do a good job. However, with small children make SURE you move the walking slider as slow as possible then minimize walking. Also, there is a way to let the program know you want to child swap.

Thank you! Adjusting the sliders helped make the times seem a little bit more accurate. I’m going to print off the touring plans and then color code by “must do” and “extra” attractions so I can relax a little if something else catches their eye along the way or we just need to chill out and get a snack.

I would take VOTLM out of the morning plan altogether. Lets say you get on TSMM exactly at 9:40, you may be off of it around 10:00, leaving you just enough time to get everyone over to VOTLM. I don't think you have even a small chance of getting to The Beauty and the Beast Show by 11:00 and that fills up fast, possibly shutting you out. Beauty and The Beast is excellent and I wouldn't risk it for VOTLM which is just ok. This is best case scenario anyway. If the fp line for TSMM is long or someone needs a potty break, the dominoes will fall. Also, how do you plan on fitting 3 attractions in between Beauty in the Beast at 11 and Frozen Sing A Long at 12, lol ???! Sorry but I think you have to cull your plans a bit. My family is all adults and we usually do RNR, TOT, TSM and one other ride and ONE show before leaving around 1 PM. When we come back around 5:30 we usually do one other ride, one show and Fantasmic. That's with no character meet and greets and we know all the short cuts and bathrooms etc. Hollywood Studios has lots of street shows and cool little things the kids will want to see. I think you will be miserable trying to keep your itinerary and no one wants that for you!
