I have a BOG dinner scheduled for 6:15pm the night I have Pirates and Pals booked for 8:30/8:45pm, will we have enough time to make it?

IMO you will be pushing it. We've eaten at BOG twice for dinner, and for some reason both dinners have taken a long time! Plus, we didn't get in right at our ADR time. IIRC we had a 6:45 reservation once and Wishes was about to start at 9:00 when we got out. We also weren't in a hurry, though, so we didn't try to speed the meal up and did order drinks and dessert. So maybe if you order right away and don't do apps and dessert you'll be ok. Doing it that way I would think you should have time. At least you can just walk to the CR, so transportation shouldn't be able to hang you up!

plus I think you want to be on the early side for Pirates and Pals, and not have a huge dinner right before... that being said we have a 5pm dinner at 1900 PF on our P&P night. I originally had a 6pm but decided it was too close.

There are a lot of snacks/treats at Pirates and Pals. I don't know that i would want to do a big ADR right before and feel rushed. On the plus side, you can walk to CR, so you don't have to factor in transportation.

If you really want to do the dinner there are some things you can do to speed things up.

1. Let your server know you have a PP cruise booked.
2. Have an idea what you are going to get before you enter the restaurant.
3. Order your meals and drinks the first time your server arrives.
4. If you are planning on dessert order it when you entrees arrive.
5. Ask for the check when your meal/dessert arrives.

We have never been in a sit down for more than about an hour. but then again we don't order drinks, apps., then entrees, then dessert then after dinner drinks, etc. We get in, order, eat and pay the bill then back to the park.

If you are going to try it, get to BOG early--- I would try to check in 30 minutes early if they let you. We have waited 20 or 30 minutes past our ADR time for a table there. I think with just having to walk to the Contemporary, that you should be able to get there if you are seated right around your ADR time. As others have said- the down side is you are going to want dessert at BOG and then I think there are snacks/desserts at Pirates and Pals.
