Did it work, TOJ? Mine didn't. I really wasn't hungry for dinner. So I didn't eat. I was stuffed from my snack! And my water.

Oh Gator Guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY, it worked....well Cingular wireless helped a little too! ;) lol

but I'm not complaining!! :)

Hello dear WISH friends! I'm home early because I had a study hall for my exam.

b: 2 slices PB toast, apple (5)
l: two helpings smashed potatoes, roll, peaches (8)

I've been carb crazy today. I also had one chicky nugget with lunch.

Cam- HI!! Thanks. I think I'm gonna need it to pass my math! Tell your DD congrats.

Jen- Glad it worked for you. I can't explain why the telepathy is the way it is (I'm not a mind reader, I was hungry for Subway [eat fresh!]) Thanks for popping by!

Theme song for the day: "Up Up Up!" by Rose Falcon. It's a cheery upbeat summery song!

Water: Will be working on it.

Exercise: 5 minutes walking home. I'm gonna do Day 5 of 5 Day Abs today. Those are tough but worth it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3 days of school left! If it weren't for those snow days, we'd have only two days left. Oh well!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good bye!

Just poppin in to tell everyone that THIS CHIC ROCKS!! She gave me support today when I SOOOO NEEDED IT!!! Thank you so much Jen!!

YOU'RE AWESOME!

TOJ ;)

Awwwww, thanks! I'm lucky I was home! Thank heavens for study hall! :flower:

Note: 50 Days Left of my 100 Day Challenge!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yah!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Snack of 2 hot dogs (8)

Exercise: Day 1=7 minutes, Bike ride of 17 minutes

Water: 48 oz

Keep up the good work as school winds down. Schools here have another month to go still. You are doing great on exercise for June! :flower:

Hello all!

Calena-thanks for popping in! It's been crazy with the weather. Hot/cold/rain/sun! 2 days left, 4 exams to go!!!! :goodvibes

My goal for this month: portion control!

Theme Song for Today: Just Keep Swimming because we watched Finding Nemo (What do we do? We SWIM SWIM SWIM!)

Breakfast: 1 eggy w/ ham (3.5), 1 piece of white toast (1) with butter, 1 tsp. (1)=5.5

Lunch: two slices of pizza (3 per slice) and two breadsticks (1 per breadstick). I could have done with one piece of pizza, though. Just keep swimming!=8

Early dinner today because of church practice for play: 3/4 cup spaghetti w/ meat sauce (6), 1/2 chopped up and seeded cuke (0), ranch dressing but not enough to count because I only dibbled the cuke slice in it for some flavor.=6

I now understand why I don't eat veggies! Answer: They're boring and bland! I can't STAND cooked veggies, but raw celery, cukes etc. are BLAND!

Water: 24 ounces.

I think I'm coming down with something. I think it's allergies (but how would I know). My mom says it's probably from a certain type of tree opening up. :confused3 Just make the symptoms STOP!!!

My goal for this month is to control my portions. Since school will be out soon, it will be easier to distinguish if a serving is a cup when it's served in a hot Styrofoam bowl. And, no meJen, it doesn't mean that endless is good! It means that you are only eating thismuch and if you want more, you can get more if you really want it! But I'm going to see if it's worth it first, as in "Do I really want to measure out another portion of ____________? Can I live without it at this very exact moment in time? Will it be here/can I take it home/what can I do in place of eating?"

I'll probably have a snack later. Total points used today:19.5!

I was reading a copy of People magazine I looked through after the exam. It said to write down all the good things you did for you/body, and all the things that feel good about you/your body! Awesome Idea!

:) I feel good that I was able to restrain myself at lunch.
:) I feel healthier, at least a smidgen bit.
:) Yesterday, I rode my bike for 17 minutes and DIDN'T FEEL WINDED at all!
:) I like the way my legs look!

YOU ROCK ON GIRL! Love your upbeat attitude! and the turkey toast sounds YUMMIE!! (I'll have to try that)

and i love the song 'just keep swimming'...

now i have to go home and put in NEMO :teeth:

THANKS A LOT! LOL :rotfl2: :cool1: :rotfl2:

Hi all! I have a LOT on my agenda this weekend! Grandpa had his surgery today and as far as we know, he's doing well. (I can't go to the hospital because I'm "sick" with my whatever-sneezy-sicky bug!) I have to serve at the 50 Year Club banquet tomorrow and I'm at their mercy (my plan: eat defensively!) Last year the menu was chicken cordon blue, scalloped potatoes with cheese, green beans, salad and pie. I'm not going to deny myself anything, but will monitor myself.

Thanks for popping in Jen!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
b: chicken noodle soup and 5 crackers (3.5)
l: double hamburger (6)
d: 1 piece of KFC chicken with skin and breading removed, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and NO MACARONI AND CHEESE! Total: 7.5 points
s: turkey toast (4), chix noodle soup (.5, only 1/2 serving), peach (1), water
Exercise: Walk home (5 mins)!!
15 TP (target points) used thus far. Dinner will be KFC!
Water: 24 ounces
Theme song for today: Break Away by Kelly Clarkson! I need to break away from all of these temporary stresses, focus on my goal, and get ready for SUMMER! I don't even FEEL like stepping on the scale tomorrow. So I won't!
One day left of SCHOOL! :cheer2: :cheer2:
Okay. I faced my fear. I stepped on the scale...and:
lost another pound! 185! Wahoo! It's about time, gosh darn it! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
b: biscuit from KFC, eggy w/ ham (7)
It was very yum. I even talked myself out of another biscuit. That took guts, self! Nice job, self!
AWESOME!!!! One more bites the dust!
Congrats on resisting the biscuit - they are SO GOOD!!!
Have a great weekend!
Thanks Julie. The biscuits are AWESOME, it was really hard to leave it alone. Why? because it was just sitting there, right in front of my face "singing" that song I hear when something good just is THERE! "Simply irresitable!" Why does food do that? I mean, you can't go cold turkey, because we need food to live. You can't just stuff yourself silly and hope for the best.
Have a good weekend, too, Julie!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes
(I feel a dance comin' on!)
I feel good (nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh NUH!)
Whoo-I knew that I would, now!
WISH is great! It's not too late!
To be a better YOU!!!!!!!!!
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cheer2: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
Congtarulations :cool1:
A pound is a pound is a pound and you now have one less! It is probably hiding inside that biscuit you didn't eat!
Judy
I think I had an epiphany over the weekend. I really do.
I was sitting on the bus, on one side of me is my friend Sammie, sleeping on Jeff's lap. I look over to the other seat and my best friend Alyssa is in Alan's arms, I'm like woah! when did those happen? (But seriously Alyssa and Alan are really cute, I'm so happy for her, but you don't even know them so I'm going to close the parehtheses now :rotfl: ) And I felt all I want one and I got that feeling that was like, eat you know you want to, it will make you feel better. But instead I grabbed my new teddy bear and Mighty Mouse shirt and I felt better. Wow, I felt better, without food? Whoda thunk it?
~*~*~*~
Great job on the biscuit, I'm going to have my mom go grocery shopping with me for Romaine lettuce and carrots hehehe :earboy2:
Thanks Judy and welcome to my journal! Why don't you come on in and stay awhile?
It probably was hiding in the biscuit. I wouldn't doubt it.
Hi Twinksie! How was the Great East Festival? You did awesome on the not eating! I'm so proud of you! Twinks, I am going to throw an Epiphany Party in your honor in your journal. Good for you!!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
We have to go grocery shopping too! We need fruit, lunch meat and lettuce!
Thanks for poppin' in Twinks!
I didn't even eat! The food looked like yuck. It was baked steak, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, salad and pie. I made myself leave because I knew it didn't look worth it. I'm seriously craving fruit, so that's what I'm gonna have.
Oh and one of the younger members spilled gravy on this one elderly person's shirt.
Exercise: 3 hours of running around, serving people drinks/food, and cleaning up. I've decided to count activity points now. I sweated a lot because it was like 80 degrees and I was wearing black pants and a 3/4 length shirt with a tee under it. I looked good and felt good! 12 AP's, lots of sweat. (Like, you get 1 AP for every 15 mins, and 2 if it's really vigorous, right?)
Lunch: apple, baked potato, 1 mug tomato soup w/ reduced fat milk, turkey on two slices split top wheat (7 points). That was more like a snack, cause I ate at three thirty!
Toodles!
D: turkey open face sandwich on one slice of split top wheat bread, apple, baked potato, salad w/ lettuce, cukes, tomatoes and Parmesan Peppercorn Dressing! (6 points!) The dressing was homemade and AWESOME!
Exercise: 10 minutes of Curve-esque training. Gonna do it again tomorrow! And (note to self) update exercise ticker tomorrow!
