Your camping trip sounds fun too. I know what you mean about "roughing it." I'm a country girl but still have never been camping and I'm not quite sure if I could do it. I'm sure you'll have a blast though . . . . . . new experiences!!
 
Hi Amanda! Thanks! I know how you feel. About how I feel...I want to go out and buy everything I'll need. In foresight, it looks awesome/perfect/nothing can go wrong. In hindsight, I'll have to abandon most of my rules (like no eating after 7) and I really am not fond for the outside.

My letter to me:

Dear My Body,
You're looking and feeling absolutely fabulous. Sure we had that nasty slip, but I am rededicating myself to making a better us. Our compadre, Gordo (fat) will be with us a little while longer, but, as you have sensed, he is slipping away mighty fast. It's for the better, really.

To make a better us, we are each going to have to pull our own weight. I will be:
:flower: drinking more water, :flower: trying to make more sensible food choices, :flower: changing up my exercise and :flower: taking more me time.
As for you, well, we'll just have to see.

The memories are great, but you aren't. It's you, not me. I'm sorry, Gordo, but I want to be friends. Not family members. Sure, sure, I remember the good times. But they don't happen as much anymore. I get tired easy, I'm just not being all I can be. Please don't take it to heart (literally).

I think I know why I chose a few of those specific songs for my workout cd other than the fact that I love them:
Song 3: Hollaback Gurl (Gwen Stefani)- I've been " a few times" I've been around that track of weight loss and now I want it more than ever.
Song 4: Since U been Gone (kelly clarkson)- "Since u been gone, It's like I can breathe for the first time. I'm so moving on [yeah yeah] Thanks to you, now I get what I wa-a-ant!" (not want, pronounced like rant, except with a W at the front.) It's want, (wa-unt, I guess, if I wanna be technical)
Song 5: Mr. Brightside-The Killers: It's about my destiny and if I don't take control, I'll be left in the past with no control!
Song 6: This Ones For the Girls (Martina McBride): Make it happen!

Anyway, I just danced 32 minutes and man am I pooped! :cheer2:

I do believe TOM is on the way. I feel like a large obese lump of lumpiness. I'm feeling snappish and not doing very well with my eating. Errgh.

My letter to TOM:
Dear TOM,
Hi. I'm not necessarily glad you're back. We have quite a few issues to deal with, Mister! You probably will come after this and leave before it's solved. But that's okay. I'm used to it. You think it's funny to catch me off guard, crave foods I can't have, be all yucky feeling (cramps, bloating etc.) and you're just NOT!

I do plan on dealing with you though. To combat the cravings, I will indulge a little fractisimal bit. I'll stay on plan and chugalug my water. I'll also chew sugarfree gum or keep my hands busy. I just want you OUT before ALIVE and my church's VBS. Is that a deal.

To counteract the cramps, I'll exercise even if it kills me and eat dairy.

You're not going to get the best of me!
