Cast- Me! - Disney Planner Extraordinaire, DH- Huge LSU fan!!! DD (12) DD(7) DD(15mos).
Well today is our last day in the world- we head home tommorrow.
We slept in (so unlike me!!!). But we did not get back to our room until after 1:00am.
We arrived at MK at @11:00pm we got a FP for SM and rode COP and Buzz.
DH got the high score on Buzz so he got to pick the next attraction after lunch. POC
We had PS for Cinderella's Table (funny how we got this! DH was chatting with a couple in line at San Angel's on Day 1. They were a party of 6. They were not going to be able to use their lunch reservation so they asked if we wanted it. So on friday we were the Cvarsty family
) Lunch was very good.
We headed towards POC, with a pit stop at Ariel's grotto. Ariel is DD(7) FAVORITE!! The last 5 times we have been to MK we have tried to see her and the wait time was always too long. This time I promised that even if we had to wait 4 hours she would see Ariel!! The wait time said 50min but we only waited 30. She was thrilled and I can't wait to see my pictures.
We did POC and then headed toward tommorrowland to use our FP for SM. Next we did the tea cups and then toontown.
Last we walked to frontierland and saw Country Bears Jamboree. The baby LOVED this!! Then we did a baby swap and rode Splash M and BTMRR. Then we hopped the train and rode back to the entrance. I tried to look at our pictures in front of the castle and with Ariel but they were mobbed so we headed back to the hotel.
Sat morning we slept in again. (At least we were well rested on this trip) We started packing at 10:00am at 10:15am DH received a call from his brother. It seems a friend of his was looking for DH to see if he wanted a free ticket to the Sugar Bowl in a suite at the Superdome!! They had a cancellation.
Well you've never seen a man pack up his DW and 3 DD's as fast as mine did!!! He did let me make my pit stop at EPCOT to get our NYE picture but then it was a mad dash home!!!!
He and the girls waited in the car in the parking lot for me and I picked up the picture (which turned out great) and also ran in Gateway gifts and got DD(12) a NYE Stuffed Figment (her fav) and DD (7 and 15mos) each a NYE Stuffed Mickey as a memento. They were thrilled.
Well overall we saw much less than we normally do! But with the crowds DH and I both feel like we did pretty good. And while we were both shocked at the tremendous volume of people it was the most wonderful NYE we have ever had!
