I don't hear a lot about Tiffins. I'll be at Animal Kingdom in July and I have an ADR at Tiffins. The menu appealed to me, the wine list looks impressive, and I like the thought of a quiet indoor dinner. But is the food worth it? Does the quality stack up against similarly priced restaurants? Or should I just grab a drink and a snack at Nomad and eat a late dinner at my hotel (Swan/Dolphin)?

We have eaten at Tiifins twice and both times the food was outstanding. We also enjoyed the quiet refuge it offered.

We loved our diner at Tiffins. We had a late ADR so the restaurant was uncrowded. We were the last to leave the restaurant- we weren't rushed at all! Would definitely return!

We've eaten there twice and really enjoyed it both times.
Once was the River of Light package.....wonderful food.
We have an ADR booked for Dec. again

Tiffins is our favorite restaurant on property. We've eaten there more than any others. Never been disappointed, always found it exceeds our expectations. Staff is wonderful also.

Aaannndddd the first thumbs down.

Been a few times, doubt we'll go back. From food, to decor to service it wasn't worth the price. Now Nomad Lounge has some great food options, some great servers, great variety of drinks, LOVE the decor inside and out. Will be a regular stop for us.

We've eaten there several times and always had great food and service. Will be going back this fall.
Also love Nomad lounge. A great place to take a break in the afternoon. They have a nice indoor area, but if the weather is good, sitting out on the deck by the river is beautiful.

I've tried Tiffin's once and found it just OK, not worth it for me. I agree with the recommendations for Nomad Lounge, and I like that they have great non-alcoholic drink options.

I love Tiffins. I am pretty sad that my crew does not want to go there in December, but there are just so many signature meals that we can justify, so this one did not make the cut. I have been whining for months, and will probably continue to do so.

Same here. It's one of my favorites, but the family doesn't agree, so I don't get to go in December either.

OP, keep in mind your traveling party when you look at the menu and decide. Picky eaters or anybody super "value conscious" may not enjoy Tiffins.

We liked it, me more than DH. I got swordfish and cheese plate and red wine flight and all was very good as was service. DH liked the seared octopus and whatever meal he got, in laws love the beef dish which DH and I passed on because it was Good Friday but it looked very good. The bread service here, however, was not that good. Way better at Sanaa.

We have eaten at Tiffins multiple times (to the point they gave us a "thank you" postcard and special dark chocolate/coffee bark on our visit last week). It's very good, one of my family's favorite park dining experiences. The themes of the rooms are really neat, and we were seated in the safari room last time for the first time. Even my kids enjoyed reading the journal entries discussing how to gather ideas for various parts of the AK.

We've gotten this on our last few visits too (again, for being multiple repeat guests) and it's SOOOOOOO good. I love how they acknowledge repeat guests. No where else we've been has done that, granted we've not done any Signature as often as we've done Tiffins, maybe that's the difference. All others we have been to as often are just regular TS, like Yak and Yeti, Mama Melrose or Via Napoli.

We went for lunch. I loved it. It was super quiet, they let my sleeping kid sleep in her stroller (the aisle was wide enough for her to sleep next to the table and a server to pass through).

We're never on the dining plan so the fact it's a 2 credit restaurant doesn't matter, but it's now knocked Le Cellier off of our must do list.

Picky eaters probably won't find much on the menu they'll be willing to try, even though I think the menu just looks more exotic than it actually is. They do have a lunch prix fixe that's not advertised online and was available when I went. My picky/thrifty inlaws ordered from that menu

I’ve only dined there once and it was a special event but it was outstanding. I’m planning to give it a try for a “regular” meal on my next trip. The restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin are outstanding as well. Blue Zoo being my favorite. So the good news is that I don’t think you can go wrong!

Oddly, we got the candy and drawings on our first trip but nothing at the second.

Yay. Also the Nomad Lounge, especially if you can sit in one of the couches outside. We did that a couple of times and ordered several snacks.

I was disappointed in Tiffins - menu looked so great but in actuality flavors of my meal (duck) were strange and duck was rubbery instead of crispy skin. My husband did enjoy the venison. I would go with Nomad lounge next door.
