Tiffins with ROL Dining Package or Nomad Lounge with ROL FP?

I normally am pretty decisive about my WDW plans, but for the life of me I can't make this choice. We've never eaten at Tiffins or the Nomad Lounge, and would like to try both, and I feel like I'm leaning more toward eating at the Nomad Lounge, and doing ROL with a FP on the evening in question. We've seen ROL before, and really like it, and want to see it again. This particular day is the only one in our schedule that we'll be spending an evening at AK. We could fit in the Nomad Lounge on another day. I just don't know what to do. Any thoughts? We could even do Tiffins as a regular dining reservation that evening, and just FP ROL. I quess I'm not really sure I'm going to like Tiffins enough to justify the cost, and nothing on the menu is jumping out at me. I feel like I'm missing something though by not eating there. On the other hand, there are several things I'd like to try on the Nomad Lounge menu. My husband is leaving the choice up to me.

I pondered the same question and ultimately decided to do Tiffins w/ROL dining package, mainly so I don't have my last FP tied up all day.

You can order off of the Tiffins menu at Nomad, so I would just go to Nomad and if you'd like to try some of the Tiffins food, you can order from there. We much prefer Nomad over Tiffins. It's just more relaxing.

I think you should eat where and what you want and get a Fastpass or do stand-by for RoL.

I think that the ROL package at Tiffins is a great value, so when we plan on seeing ROL that’s what we book. I do prefer Nomad Lounge in general, but it is so easy to just pop in and grab a snack/drink that we don’t usually schedule it in, and just stop by if we are around that area and need a break. You really can’t go wrong with Tiffins ROL or Nomad lounge, personally I would not do regular Tiffins with FP but that’s because based on what we order the ROL package is a better deal.

When crunching the numbers, it did seem like the ROL dining package at Tiffins was well worth the money. I think it's the only dinner package where I can say that, lol!

Personally, I really dont think you need a river of light package to get a good view of the show so that would never weigh into my decision. I would personally just eat at Nomad lounge and do stand by for ROL. You can get Tiffins food there for less than the package cost.

We go to Nomad's Lounge every single trip we like it so much and Tiffins is our favorite restaurant on Disney property so I think you couldn't go wrong. I wouldn't do the package because we like choosing what we want. You could always have drinks and appetizers at Nomad and eat at Tiffins. I'm not 100% sure you can get the Tiffins menu at Nomad, we have never tried it but have eaten there off their menu for our meal. I'd FP ROL no matter which place you choose to eat and keep in mind if you don't want to waste your initial 3 FPs, we have never had a problem getting ROL FPs later in the day at last minute.

I agree with this. You'll get a good view no matter where you sit. I'd go with Nomad Lounge.
