Has anyone used TTC and used the shopping stop. How long do they stop, where do they stop and can you choose the supermarket or not?

Thanks

we are using them tomorrow....they give you 20-30 minutes....we are asking them to stop at publix....

We used Tiffany in November....they made an automatic stop for us at a Publix. We didn't request a specific grocery store, they picked for us. We had 20 min to do our shopping - plenty of time for me to get milk, bread, eggs, and some other things I couldn't ship down. If you have enough time, you can ship yourself a care package. I shipped cereal, snacks, coffee, tea, extra film and batteries I didn't feel like carrying. Call the front desk of your hotel for the address.

BTW, we really liked Tiffany. There were 10 of us - 4 adults and 6 kids. Two of the kids needed car seats. They went out and bought a booster seat just for my son - we took it out of the box and put the cover on it for the driver (he was fumbling with it, and I've got 4 kids - could do carseats in my sleep!). We were an hour late getting in via Amtrak, and they were there waiting for us. We gave them the return time to pick us up for the trip home, and there they were, waiting for us. Wonderful service. Also, if you check out their website, there's a $5 coupon to print out.

We have used Tiffany many times and have been taken to a few diifferent stores. It seems to depend on the time of day and where your resort is. In my experience they have picked the most convenient and/or the one less likely to be crowded at that time of day. We have been to Kash N Karry and Publix and the driver many times gives us his frequent shopper card, once saving us over $20.00! (I just happend to be getting stuff that was on sale that week.)

I always make a list to keep the time down, organized by food type. Even though the stores are all set up a bit different you have a general idea as to how things will be grouped. I think the stop went from 30 minutes to 20 but that has never been a problem.

Last time the driver took the time to help us ice the cooler and pack the perishables before loading everything in the trunk.

I love this service and always tip more on the first leg due to the grocery stop.

We just came back from a trip and used Tiffiany Towncar. Excellent service! They stopped at a Publix (although it wasn't automatic, we had to request it, but no problem or extra charge). I never thought to ask if the driver had a Publix card. wonder if I could get one before my next trip if we don't live in Florida? Just trying to save a few bucks.

When we landed my daughter had some problems necessitating a longer than anticipated bathroom visit. When we went to baggage claim the driver had already identified our luggage and had it waiting on a push cart. He said they were going to put it in storage, or wherever unclaimed baggage goes. Geez! We weren't that long! We had to show our claim checks to take the baggage out, of course, but if it weren't for that driver we would have had quite a hassle finding our bags because we wouldn't think to go to unclaimed baggage, we'd just think they weren't on the carosel yet. He got a good tip from us! also, so check Tiffiany's website for a $5 coupon.
