Tiffany Luggage Limits?

In searching for a towncar service I noticed some companies list on their websites the number of pieces of luggage you can have using a towncar. We've pretty much made up our minds to use Tiffany, but I was wondering how many pieces of luggage you're allowed. There are only 3 of us, but we're staying for 14 days and we don't know how to pack light! Just a guess, but we'll probably have 2-3 large pieces and 3 medium, plus our carry-on stuff. It won't be more than that because the airline won't allow it , but some of the companies we've looked at only allow 2 lg, 3 small and we'll never get our luggage down to that! Will Tiffany allow that much luggage with a town car and if not, what's an alternative?

The best thing to do is call TTC and ask them.

It seems reasonable to assume that the limits are there to be sure the customers' luggage fits into the trunk. IMHO, you are planning to bring more than will fit into one towncar's trunk.

If I were you, I would measure the dimensions of the pieces I planned to bring and then give Tiffany a call. If your luggage exceeds the capacity, maybe you and they can work something out. Maybe you will need a van instead of a towncar.

We had 4 adults and 2 8 y/o dd's with us when we used TTC. There must have been at least 3 large bags, 3-4 smaller ones and a couple of duffles thrown in for good measure. The driver, Don, didn't seem to have any problem with that amount. I'ld call and double-check. You'll love TTC.

Thanks for the help. I did email them and they recommended we use a van, so that's what we'll do. I drive a towncar and I can get that much luggage in it and more, but it's one of the last that were made full size( and the reason I'm keeping it!) and we could probably live in the trunk if we wanted to.
