Regardless, the point you were trying to make was that FP- required planning.
The point I was trying to make was that FP+ required me to plan even more, something that I don't think most people will take the time to do.
What effect that will have, neither of us knows. But I will speculate that because of FP+, demand will be distributed in ways that will render previously utilized methods of line avoidance useless.
I was just going thru some of the other threads where the "real" haters are talking about going to US instead of WDW next year, how FP+ sucks so bad, etc...etc... and I was going to try and multi-quote all of those usernames over here for the benefit of the above but I couldn't do it.
I was even surprised to see one DS veteran with over 100,000 posts to their credit expressing how "jaded" they've become with WDW.
I'm not pissed at Disney, I don't hate FP+, I've only been participating in the discussions about it and offering what effects I think it will have over time, but yet I get labeled a "hater" quite often. I thought that was a relatively small group but now that I start looking at posts from others, I'm beginning to wonder just who the majority is now.
Now that things have settled down a little bit, another FP+ tiering question.....if it comes to MK (which I fear it will) how would you see the attractions being divided up? Four tiers? Or could the number fall to three?
HA - oh no, tiers are falliiiiiiiiiiiiiing...... (Kiss reference)
So it's been a couple months since this thread has been active ..... So ...... Any news about whether the MK will be going to a tiered system in the near future?

I'd say that if the Mine Train opens with no tiering in place, then it probably isn't in the plans for now. But it also appears that some fine tuning will happen sometime this year. It could also happen that they do it at a time when they increase the total number.
