I was so excited earlier this summer when I ordered my first pair of Tieks as that is when I came across them. I ordered the matte black. However, the fit wasn't right for me. They sent out a replacement and the next size up didn't fit right either.
As for quality, the leather felt very soft. The soles appeared to be pretty sturdy.
One size was too tight and the other was way too large. At $175 I wasn't willing to risk wearing the ones that were a tad too tight to see if they stretched. Don't let not trying them on deter you as you are able to return and they pay the freight back.
However, I have since started wearing my shoes a tad larger then before (ummm before I think I was always wearing shoes too tight). I will probably try ordering them again before summer to see if the fit is better.
