Arts and Crafts **Tie Dye Mickey ears shirts directions**NEW NEW PICS LAST PAGE**

I'd never tried, it might work since brown is the dark color in the combination. Tulip has a kit with light pink, but is very light. You can try, I think it would be cool.

I just e-maliled someone a template I don't know if it was you, that's the only one I have in my computer since it crash a week ago.

That was probably me. Do you want me to resend it back to you so you can re-save it to your computer?

A couple more pics for inspiration ;)

Thanks for the directions for making these really cool tie dyes! I just made my first round (keeping my fingers crossed that they came out ok after reading all these great tips and directions), and noticed that the directions say that the dye needs to be used within 45 minutes. Just wondering if that is true or if it can be used again later. I bought a Tulip kit.:smickey:

Hi girls, how ya'll doing with your shirts. I have some new pics but my kids broke my adapter to transfer the pics to my computer   I wanted to take pics outdoors but the weather is not helping today.

Alright, here some halloween shirts, it was hard to control the black but I used the urea and the other stuff from dharma along with the detergent and it help me a lot.

Pixie!

First of all - I love you.... you are such a dear to post all these photos for us to drool over!

And - I ADORE the Halloween colors - great job.

I am thinking of attempting a bullseye myself this weekend... maybe just a two color to get my feet wet. We're going in 9 days, and it sure would be fun to have something new to wear!!!

I love you too :lovestruc!!! Okay, I have two shirts 'cooking' right now. I can't wait to see if I've achieved anything NEAR as cool as Pixie's shirt...I can only dream. I'll post pictures if I'm not too embarrassed:headache: I did one bullseye and one swirl. My husband looked at me like I had two heads when I told him what I was doing....

I leave in 9 days too!! maybe we'll see each others' creations in person :hippie:

:lovestruc :flower3: Thank you girls, you're sweet.

How cool, :yay: :yay: Im sure your shirts would be awesome too. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Can't believe I'm going to post my sad story of a shirt. I have come to the conclusion that this is for the professionals to tackle LOL. Mine looks more like cowhide than tie dye :lmao: I used a light colored pink shirt and brown Tulip dye. The brown didn't come out very dark or bright and there's some strange yellows & blues that came out?? Also, my MM came out as a blob, so I used the bleach pen. I did two shirts and the other I can't even show :headache: cuz it's like an ugly, orangy, rust color (I used a white shirt for that one) with two blobs that were supposed to be MM. so here it is the cowhide........

What are you talking about! It looks cool! :yay: :yay: don't say that. The yellowish colors are normal with the brown and pink, it will go away.

The bleach pen is a lifesaver when your mickey dyes runs all over the place, it happens and don't fell bad. You did awesome :yay:

For the tulip dyes use less water for a more intense color next time.

Don't give up! You did amazing. :cheer2:
