Arts and Crafts **Tie Dye Mickey ears shirts directions**NEW NEW PICS LAST PAGE**

OK! I tried the Bullseye and it is a lot easier and it looks cool too. Not bad for being the first one, I left more white to see the effect. This is size Medium, purple and pink. Can't wait to make some halloween and christmas colors.. :yay:

What ya'll think? :confused3 :lovestruc

OK just kidding you can keep posting.... I'll have to think about the bullseye one. That is really neat.

Hey Scrooge Jr welcome to the DIS! They are sooo fun to work on! I am sure you will be glad you made them if you do! You sure do get a lot of attention at WDW when you are wearing them!

These are awesome! My daughter has been asking me for weeks to do a tie dye shirt..This makes it even better. Now I just have to find colors DH will wear:rolleyes1

Both of you should do a youtube video for us craft challenged folk!:) I have a feeling by the end of the weekend I'll have 3 new sleep shirts and maybe 3 wearable park shirts:)

So there are essentially 2 options:
1-Trace mickey head and sew around it with floss and band that section together, then band the rest of the shirt like normal?

2-Band and tie dye the entire shirt and then go back and trace MM head with a fabric/bleach pen?

Tinker-I love the Peace MM, did you use a pen for that?

Thanks! :goodvibes I used resist, and now I am bleaching it to make it a little brighter!

We should make a youtube video- I bet someone had before you should try to look it up!

And yes, you have it right with your two options!

On your DH- I do a lot of black and turquoise for boys! They seem to agree to wear that bc it is more manly lol! (AR AR AR like Tim the tool man needs to be inserted here! haha!)

Hi everbody! I've been working on a couple new styles for my shirts. On the first one I used one of DH's old undershirt just to try, it come out OK, but Im gonna try with resisit next it might be easier and faster, we'll see.

The second one is a small kids shirt also I was just testing and I think it came out good, but it would show better on a darker color, but it was ok for a first time.

One (new style) is the front of the shirt, and the other is the back of the shirt.
