The dress is FANTASTIC!!!! I may have to try it. What color was the dress to start? I saw them in the store today but not in white I don't think. Hmmmm....

I picked Red and blue, bright blue I think, the American flag blue.

I'm making a couple more for a beach trip, hope they turn out as pretty.

I made my self a tie dye (no mickey) for DD's field day, I'll post a pic when ready.

This is a silly question...if you don't go with a white shirt/dress/pillowcase...do you bleach it? Or do you always use a white item of clothing,etc.

Always use a white item. Since Im using dye, white is the best canvas.

Not silly at all. I know people use other colors to do tie dye too, it can be done but the results won't be the same.

we bought the shirts from JOAnn Fabric...sale afor about 3.00 but they are all 50/50. Should we return??

Hi, well the dye is fiber reactive dye and it does not work on syntetic, your shirts would not look as bright, they would look faded, like pastels instead of the vivid colors. Darker colors would look wash out.
