Yes! I love them! The only downside is that you can't use them if you aren't doing a full load. So I still have some powder detergent around for those less than full loads.

I got a big container of the Tide ones. They seem to work fine, but they do not have fabric softener in there as far as I know, so I have to add the fabric softener separately. By the time I go to the trouble of doing that, I might as well pour detergent too.

They would be a bit handy if you use dryer sheets instead of liquid fabric softener, otherwise I am not seeing a lot of benefit.

I absolutely LOVE the Tide Pods!! I bought a small bag once when they were on sale and I've used them ever since. Now I buy the biggest package of them at the wholesale club.

I love them. We don't have a washer and dryer in our apartment and use the laundry rooms. It is so nice to just grab a pod or two rather than carrying the entire box or bottle of detergent plus the clothes basket. Plus I ALWAYS used too much soap before, now I don't need to worry about it. I have a big bag of the spring meadow scent and love the way my clothes smell.

I only use them for vacation. At home I make my own detergent but these are great for vacation. I didn't even notice they didn't have softener. lol

yes, they've ruined me. i can't use regular detergent anymore. powder stuff always ends up in the creases of the clothes or i was always missing the caps for the liquids and dealing with leaky, drippy containers.

We use ALL liquid (various types) and Woolite. Then we use Downy for the fabric softener. My wife and youngest daughter both have sensitive skins which is why we use those detergents specifically. We have not used powder in ages b\c it seemed to stain things and get stuck in the folds of the clothes. When we go to Disney, then we use the pods which seem to work well.

We bought some to take with us on vacation in a week, and I used one to see what I thought about it...I love it!! Probably won't go back to liquid after this!

U might want to do a search on these boards cuz I think there was a thread goin about these that ruined clothes with the blue dye-but it might be a different brand. I want to say the user also did a google search & found a lot of complaints about staining.

That was NOT Tide brand. It was All or Purex's pods. I have not had an issue with the Tide ones and we use them on vacation. At home I use Tide with Febreeze or Downy. I also use color catchers as you just never know when someone s going to throw something tht may run into the washer.

I'm not loyal to many products but I love the Tide pods! We did have a problem when we first got them because we'd put in the clothes and then throw in the Tide pod and sometimes we'd get orange or purple spots on our clothes. Then we read that you are supposed to throw then Tide pod in first. So I'll start the wash, put in the pod, and then the laundry and have had no issues since.

I thought it did have fabric softener and then realized it didn't. At that point I realized I wasn't missing fabric softener so why use it anyway?

I bought these for DH to use when he does his work clothes....
When he used the liquid detergent,he was using too much detergent-not following the suggestion on the cap even-he was using a full cap for each load (past the lines)

He was using up bottles so fast

Problem is now solved

I bought these for my college student son. They work great, and he doesn't have to mess with lugging a big container of detergent to and from his laundry room.

I bought a bag of these last week when CVS had them on sale and I had a $1 off coupon. I am saving them for our trip to WDW in a few weeks. Glad to hear that you need to put them in the water first and then the laundry. I am going to give the extras to DD because she lives in an apt that doesnt have a W/D in the actual apt, but there is one on the premisis. I figured it would be easier than lugging the detergent bottle...problem is she may never want to go back to the bottle, and the pods are much more expensive

I think it is worth the price for some. Like I said I always used to much liquid detergent. I figure it is worth paying more per load since I was wasting detergent anyways!

How do you use them in a machine that has a hole into which detergent is poured? I could drop the Pod in, but it won't go down the hole like liquid detergent does. Do you just drop it in with the laundry? I'd be worried about it not dissolving.

I have a front load washing machine. Just put the pod in the drum and then add the clothes. I love the tide pods. They are great, they really get out any stains you might have

I am old school and like my Tide plus Bleach powder. I like being able to control the amount of powder based upon the size of the load. I don't like the liquid as I use too much. I don't wash clothes on vacation, it's vacation after all , but if I did, I'd probably use the pods for convenience.

DD who is in college likes the Tide pods...easier for her to use - toss it in the washer, no measuring etc. Plus she can grab a few pods and not have to lug around a box/bottle of Tide.
