Hi just wondered if anyone could tell me if it is possible to buy part used attraction tickets? and if so where from thanks Emma

I wouldn't recommend buying 'used' tickets at all as there is absolutely no way of checking how many days left on them until you actually get to the parks. Can you imagine the horror/embarrassment of turning up and not being let in as the tickets aren't valid?

Why would you want to buy used tickets anyway? With the new MYW tickets, you can get a pretty good price for Disney tickets, expecially if you buy through one of the on-line brokers who offer discounts. From what I've seen of the used tickets being sold on Ebay, people tend to pay over the odds for them anyway.

I don't think you'll find any legitimate ticket agents that sell part-used tickets.

If you're looking for some prices, try www.ticketmania.com or www.attraction-tickets-direct.com

Also, if you register with www.mousesavers.com, they will send you a monthly newsletter which often offers discounts on ticket prices.

I wouldnt recommend getting a part used ticket as like wilma bride said theres no guarentee how many days are left. But if you still want to get one ive seen some for sale on ebay!

As others have stated I wouldn't go for used tickets,apart from which it's against the rules!! On the back of the pass : "Nontransferable;must be used by the same person on any & all days". For years there has been a very profitable "grey" market in the sale of part used tickets,normally these are what the timeshare people would give you for enduring their presentation!! WDw to combat this have introduced tickets which expire 14 days after first use unless you pay extra for the non-expiry option ( you don't just pay for the days left but the total at the start of the pass!). Also they now use finger scans at entry so you would have to get passed that as well!
One advantage of buying your own passes are: on our trip before last I accidently left all our passes for RNRRC in the fast pass machine! I went to Customer relations with my receipt & they replaced them all free of charge!
We've just ordered ours today from Ticketmania,as they are in the US they also have all the options not just the rip offs that we get here & their international postage is free.

We used the Ultimate ticket and it was linked to our fingers which had to be scanned everytime we used them. I thought this would be the same for the MYW tickets too.

I would forget Ebay, ten minutes before the auction ends, a flurry of bids take it close enough to the 'new' price anyway. Pay for peace of mind.

Hi. This is my first post here so if I have done anything wrong then please forgive me. I have found this site very useful but now need a little advice.

We are going to WDW for a week and staying on site in February 06 We have a 2 year old son so need to try to plan what my husband and I are going to do with him and likewise which tickets are best. We have a second week in Clearwater to relax so we dont mind a hectic first week.

We would like to go to at least MK, AK, Seaworld, Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, Busch Gardens and some of Universal but not too sure yet if any parts are suitable for a little one. With this in mind can anyone give any advice on which combinations of tickets we should buy as I have tried looking and have got myself a bit confused.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank-you.

Don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong, although you may get more replies if you post a new thread.

However, I will try to help you if I can.

As you are only staying a week but you want to see quite a few parks, your best bet would be MYW Hoppers for Disney with the Plus option added so you can do the water parks. With a 2-year old, you may be limited as to what rides you can do but, certainly, he will be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom. MGM Studios might be a good option too as there is Playhouse Disney Live on Stage. Personally, I would suggest 4 day hoppers with 1 or 2 plus visits (can't remember offhand how many plusses you get with a 4 day pass).

In my opinion, there's not really much at Universal for a toddler but he might enjoy Islands of Adventure, especially Seuss Landing which is great for kids.

Again, Busch Gardens might not be a particularly good idea as, apart from the animals, there are lots of large thrill rides (again, not suitable for a toddler). Sea World would be ideal as there are lots of shows, interactive things and marine life.

Your best bet, for both Islands of Adventure and Sea World, would be to buy one day passes.

I'm sure others will have more to add but, personally, you need to go at your son's pace and try not to do too much with him.

I'd mostly go along with what has been said so far,apart from IOA,I would pick US: there is Crazy George's which is part water play & part soft play,Fievels Playground,Barney's show (I've had to endure that twice!!)woody woodpecker's playzone,you also could probably get away with ET & Shrek. It's also worth remembering that a lot of the rides have baby swap; basically you let the CM know that you want to do baby swap,one of you waits in a seperate area whilst the other rides,then swap over.Not quite the same as doing them all together but it gives you an idea for your next trip!! No-one ever goes just once!!

As previously stated DO NOT use Ebay - I've seen part used tickets go for ridiculous prices lately - even when they are accurately described by the sellers, often the tickets have fetched far more than full gate prices !

The trouble with Ebay is either people don't understand enough what they are buying, and/ or they just expect that if they buy off Ebay they are automatically getting a bargain.

Thank-you for your welcome and your advice. I think what you have said is very useful and I now need to have a look into Universal a little more to see what might attract us and starting looking into the best ticket sites for what you have suggested.

There are plenty of people selling and buying tickets with days left on, legally it is wrong of course but you asked and the answer is go in most Mcdonalds and speak to the person on the ticket and information desk, They buy and sell used tickets.
I did it once a few years ago I only had one day and wanted to visit 3 disney parks, so i bought a used hopper ticket from McDonalds next to travelodge on highway 192. I took it to magic Kingdom and of course the fingerprint recognition system did not recognise me. The man on the gate reset the machine and put I rescanned my print.
So it is possible but not recommended in my opinion.
