No 8-day passes.
First option would be to take a break one day and not go to a park. Second option would be buying a 10-day MYW and only using 8. Third option would be buying a 7-day and a 1-day. Fourth option would be buying a 10-day and paying for the no expiration option. Let's look at the math for each (I'm showing Adult base prices under the assumption you don't want any of the pluses - if you want to add the hopper feature, then add $37.28 to each price):
Option #1 - 7-day MYW = $211.94
Option #2 - 10-day MYW = $222.59
Option #3 - 7-day MYW + 1-day MYW = $275.57
Option #4 - 10-day MYW w/no expiration = $329.09
Option #3 really makes no sense since it is inferior to option #2, so we can throw that one out straight away.
If your guests believe that they will use the additional 2 days at some point in the future, the average cost for these additional days under option #4 is $53.25, which is the difference between the cost of options #2 & #4 divided by 2. This doesn't seem like a particularly good deal to me because they might be able to achieve a lower average daily cost on their next trip with a longer stay and more park days.
So, if I were making this decision, I would choose between options #1 & 2. If you're set on going to the parks all 8 days, then option #2 is the winner IMHO.
Hope this helps!
