Hi I was wondering what you think i should do about tickets. Park hopper tickets wil not be available when i am going to disney world but I would still like to be able to hop from park to park during the day. I'm only going to be at WDW for 2 full days and the Florida Resident Seasonal passholder would only be $189. Do you think that this would be a good idea?
If so how should I convince others in my group that this is what we should do?

Are you staying on Disney property? If so, you could get the ultimate park hopper deal.

If you plan on going back then the FL Seasonal Pass would be fine. Just keep the blackout dates in mind when you make your trips.

Otherwise, if I were you I'd look at the 3 day PHP's that can be had through the Alamo special right now.

I will be attending a medical conference in November at the MOWC and they just sent me a list of the tickets available to convention attendees. I was surprised to see 2-day hoppers but more shocked to see an "after 2pm 1-day/1-park" ticket for $39.20. I had never heard of Disney discounting for partial days before. Unfortunately I already bought my 3-day hoppers from Central Florida Travel. Now, I wish I'd waited and planned my trip differently.

They do sell discounted tickets for conventions. These are not for the general public. They also sell other media to FL. residents and conventions that the public does not know about.

This will work if it is not in a blackout time and you are a FL. resident.
