Tickets???

We've never stayed on property before so I'm not sure what to do about tickets? I was going to just buy them through Disney because I wanted to make sure that I got my 60 day FP+. But now that I'm seeing that I could get a better deal and still link them to MDE. So who do you usually buy tickets from?

We bought from undercover tourist for our upcoming trip- they emailed the tickets, I easily linked them, and we made FP at 60 days out.

I have done Undercover Tourist for a number of years, they are legit and reputable, and I've had good customer service with them. But, this time I'm going with Parksavers .com, also legit and reputable. And, at this time they are a better deal than UCT. I'm buying a 7 day park hopper (also equal to the buy 4 day ph/ get 3 days free that they have available), for $370.98! Saves just over $53 dollars over buying at Disney. This promo must be purchased by March 31st, btw. They send a voucher you can redeem at the park, and they also send a code that you can use to link your tickets to your MDE, just as you would if you bought from Disney. The voucher is mailed within a few hours of purchase, the codes are mailed in about 72 hours after purchase, so keep that in mind in regards to your 60 days booking for FP+. If you plan to link your tickets to your MDE, you won't need the voucher anymore. There are a few recent threads on this in the last week or two to see more info.

Same. Have used UT for years, but went with Parksavers this time.

Disney's great about offering discounts to military, so I either get them direct from Disney or on base/post... but in either case, I'm blessed with a great discount.

I usually go with Undercover Tourist. Undercover Tourist sends you physical Tickets. I rather have a physical ticket in case anything happened with my band. (BTW I mostly stay offsite)

No. You can call and have dining plan added to a room only reservation. They'll convert it to a ticketless package. But must be done on the phone.
Now, if you want free dining then yes, you must get the tickets with Disney.

Tickets at Work is a good deal as well, if you have access. But Parksavers' deal is better.

I have always just bought tickets from Disney. With the $$$ spent on a trip, I like the simplicity of just getting them with my package and being done with it. On a $8-10 K vacation, it is hard to chase a discount unless it is $500 or more. My time and energy are better suited in other areas.

We save about $100 for the three of us. It's not a huge amount, but I think it's totally worth the extra 3 minutes that it takes to order through UT.

We purchased our tickets for our January trip from Parksavers and they were a great deal and super easy to link to MDE. We had no issues using our MB at the parks.

I looked at Official Ticket Center, Park Savers, and Undercover Tourist.

OTC had the best prices for what I wanted, but when it came time to submit my order, it just looped, with no error message. That, plus incomplete security caused me to give up. (Incomplete security means doing things like having insecure images on an otherwise secure web page. Because of the way browsers tell you about the page security, it's a bad idea to do this, even though it's technically not a security hole.)

PS doesn't seem to have physical tickets, so I gave up. Also, Touring Plans had a link to Park Savers that should have explained how to link a ticket voucher to MDE, but it was a dead link. I can't tell if that's TP's or PS's fault.

So I gave up on both of them and went with UT. Upgrading to include the water parks brought their price in line with the other two. The web site is much smoother than either of the other two, especially the checkout, and that means something for me.

Possible Tip (I think): Because of the convoluted pricing, a 5 day PH+WP ticket was $20 more than a 4 day PH+WP ticket. But from what I can tell, it will only cost me $10 to upgrade at the park - and I can wait to see if I want the extra day. Or am I missing something?
