Now booked trip ! :D

Just wondering if anyone has any tips about booking tickets? We are from the UK, have seen a few sites online and the prices are pretty similar, am wondering about the actual tickets or the e - tickets, not sure how the e tickets work.....? Any advice will be greatly recieved and appreciated!

Disney doesn't have e-tickets. Where you're probably hearing the term is in reference to how Disney used to sell tickets, which was in booklets where you needed to redeem tickets to go on each individual ride, and the rides were classified as A-ticket rides, B-tickets rides, and so on up to E-ticket rides. The E-ticket rides were the big rides and today rides like Splash Mountain and Toy Story Midway Mania are still referrred to as E-ticket rides. This entry from Wikipedia probably explains it a little better than I did.

I know that in the UK you can get 14 or 21 day tickets that aren't available here in the states. If that's more days than you need, I would recommend Undercover Tourist. They offer a small discount over what Disney charges and I've never heard anything but good things about them.

An annual pass for one of your party may be an option too. It offers special discounts throughout your trip and if you can plan 2 trips during its 12-month window, essentially the passholder is free that second trip :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 With an AP you can purchase the Tables in Wonderland dining discount. We love thispixiedust:
Personally, we stay on site at a Disney resort and the other members of the party get their park tickets added on their room key at check-in. We've done the park hopper, which allows you to go to multiple parks in any one day; and the single park ticket, which means you stay in one park (free to go to any resort or Downtown Disney)
My suggestion is always go straight to the source ie Disney;)Get a list of questions and go for it. They will set you up right.

Are you staying at a Disney property? How many days are in your trip? How many days to you intend to go to the Disney Parks? When at Disney are you just going to do the four major theme parks (AK, EC, HS, MK) or are you also going to do the minor parks (water parks, mini-golf, Disney Quest)? Do you intend to return to Disney in less than a year?

That way we can recommend the best ticket(s) to get.

Hi, we are staying at AoA, aiming to do all Disney Parks, IOA, Seaworld, Universal, maybe BB and TL.........maybe that's me being optimistic!! :D
As we are from the UK we won't be returning within a year- sadly :(
Thanks :-)

You will need to make a decision before you come here. Your best bet would be the 14 or 21 day Ultimate, which will allow for unlimited admissions to all four major Disney Parks, as well as the minor Parks for 14 or 21 days from date of first use. Or if you will be doing fewer days you can get the 7-Day Premium, which will allow seven days of the major parks plus seven entries to the minor Parks during a 14 day period starting date of first use.

These have to be purchased in the UK (try www.disney.co.uk) and you will get a reservation that can be exchanged for the actual tickets tickets at any Disney Park ticket or Guest Relations window. Be sure to bring the receipt with the bar code on it, or the reservation number which is four letters followed by 7 or 8 digits.

Many thanks, am planning the 14 day ultimate, just pricing up the different vendors now! And who actually sends the tickets out direct......
Thanks ;)
