Does anyone know if tickets can be purchased in advance and how far ahead?
We're planning on a 2010 trip to WDW and I would like to start buying tickets at our local disney store (yes, ours is staying open). TIA

As far as I know you can buy them whenever. If they're a no expiration ticket then you can use them whenever as well. I don't believe there is a time frame on them. When you purchase at the Disney store they give you a seperate receipt with a code so if they have problems upon scanning at the park they can enter that code. I was told to keep it with the ticket. :wizard:

You can buy your tickets now at today's prices and use them anytime in the future. If you buy them later, you'll pay more because the cost for tickets goes up just about every year. Once you activate the ticket at the park (use it for the first time), the ticket will be valid for 14 days. If you have a non-expiring ticket, it will be valid until all of the days are used up. Also, after you've bought the ticket, you can always upgrade it by adding days, park-hopping option and/or the waterpark option. But you will be paying the price that is current at the time of upgrade.
