Usually we do a package deal with tickets included. This is the first time I have had to buy park tickets. Should I just buy them when we get there or is it adviseable to purchase ahead of time?? If so where should I get them.We need 6day parkhopper passes.

If you are able to buy them ahead of time you will save some money...even direct from Disney offers you a savings if you buy them pre-trip as opposed to gate price. For better prices try signing up for Mousesavers e-newsletter (mousesavers.com) and each month you get a handy newsletter with lots of info and usually a special link to discounts on tickets from reputable ticket sellers. Other than that you might be able to luck out and find a CAA store that still has 2005 passes left at last year's prices, or just compare their prices in Canada too. Also look at the difference in price to add another day or 2, you'll find that it is only a few dollars difference to buy a 7 or 8 day pass vs. 6 day.

The Disney Store sells them for about $5 cheaper each ticket - not a huge savings. We just went with our AP but my son's friend needed a 5 day hopper and we just purchased it at the ticket desk at OKW and had it added to her room key so she didn't have to keep track of two cards. All the Disney resorts have a dining/ticket counter where you can buy whatever passes you need.

We used Ticketmania.com last year when we went in May. If you don't have time to wait for the Mousesavers newsletter go directly to their website and you'll still save money over getting your tickets directly from Disney. They ship to Canada free of charge and are quite reliable. Good luck!

Connorsmom is right on.

Undercovertourist-dot-com has the best (IMHO) prices and free shipping. Mousesavers link in this month's newletter meant $5.00 off thier posted prices (for example adults at $285 US (taxes in) and children at $246 for the 7 day park hopper + water park & more).

Definitely buy them in advance, and maybe consider the 7 day (for about $3 more) since, depending on your arrival time, you may want to start the magic early...

When buying tickets seperately, always buy ASAP. Prices can be raised as much as twice a year without any "real" notice. So get them in hand as quick as you can is my motto.

Definitely go with Undercover Tourist. I had checked Ticketmania last week when doing some budgeting for an upcoming trip. Their prices have gone through the roof in the last couple of days. Last week they were actually a few dollars cheaper than Undercover, but not anymore. I'm glad to be aware of the price difference too.

OOPS! It would help if I looked at the correct column on their website. Ticketmania is a few dollars cheaper than Undercover on a park hopping 7 day pass. Check both websites and you decide.
